These circular needles are wonderful! HiyaHiya 5 Inch Sharp Interchangeable Needle Set
I'm a new knitter and was ready to use some good circular needles, and knowing my siister loved her set of HiyaHiya's, I bought my own. I decided on the 5" long set as it's easier to hold in my arthritic hands. What I love about these are:1) The tips are sharper than most and seems to make going through loops easier.2) They are smooth and lightweight.3) I love the circular cables because they swivel.4) My set came with multiple adapters to make a cable or a needle longer if needed.5) Love the ability to tighten where the cable and needle connect with a thin keyless screw that fits into a tiny hole at the end of each cable. By gently turning the needle one way and the end of the circular cable the other way, with the key inserted, it tightens nicely so the cable won't come unscrewed. I've used mine for hours without anything loosening.I'd definitely buy these again.

These needles are fabulous. I started knitting a year ago (hours of knitting during that time) but waited to gauge interest before buying really good needles. This set has so many additional pieces that priced separately would cost more. I have used most of what came with it already with my projects. The needles are very smooth and light weight while working with them. Using the grippers to tighten the connections has worked well and I've not had any problems with them coming undone. The lifeline feature works well with a make shift needle threader using fishing line, then pulling embroidery thread through the holes. I like lacy, bigger projects so this is important to me. If I had to pick one issue with this set its the case. My Clover set had a much nicer case for keeping the needles tucked away well. The case is beautiful...mine was red, but you have to roll the case carefully to make sure the needles are safe. Metal needles on a silky type fabric causes the needles to slide easily.

Everything missing
I was super excited to finally be able to purchase these as the needle tips match my knitting style. As a result, I was crushed when, upon opening the package, all that was included were the tips, 3 small cables, and the needle grips. As a result, I can’t use half of the needle tips and have no needle stoppers. None of the other additional items like cable connectors we in the package. For the amount of money laid out, this is simply unacceptable.

Great Needles, ase not so good
I love the needles! They are very pointy. The tip in fine enough to easily slide in under a stitch. You do need to be careful on needle placement, because it is so pointy it can split yarn. I had been using regular Hiya-Hiya on a large project. After I switched to the sharps, I flew through the last bit . The transition from cable to needle is great. The cable is so fine that in sliding to the larger needles, stretching the stitches back to needle size can interrupt the rhythm of knitting, but it is not catching the yarn. It is smooth.I took a star off because of the case. The closing loop pulled out after a very few days. Unless you always store the case rolled standing on the pocket end, the needles do not stayed secured in place. I've had to resort at least some of the needles almost ever time I open it. I am trying to figure a retrofit to keep them in place. Although I like the brocade on the outside of the case, I may have to find another storage method.

Checking all equipments are in the case against the list on amazon.
The colors of the case is smart! Mauve and black with peacocks and leafy branches motifs. Inside all my equipments are here, the materials used for the pouch has changed, it’s all cotton fabric. Not the one reviewed 2 years ago on YouTube. I was dreading it wouldn’t delightful color. All tools are secured nothing slipping outside the pouch, l test it. The cotton flab covering the knitting needles and holds them in place. The tips are pointed, light weight barrels nicely done. I will recommend.

You get everything you need.
After losing 3 sets of interchangeable needles in a house fire, a friend recommended these. I have paid more for lower quality and less accessories. This set is sharp, lightweight, easy to use and comes with more accessories to make your projects easier to knit. I love the fact that it comes with stitch markers, a pad to help tighten needles and cords, snips, a needle gauge and more. Well worth the money.

First-Rate Interchangeable Knitting Needles!
I am so hooked on Hiya-Hiya Steel Interchangeable Knitting Needles that I now own 3 sets! I switched from single pointed needles to Brittany Birch double pointed knitting needles & these Hiya-Hiya needles. They serve nicely for everything I like to knit (hats, scarves, mittens, sweaters, dish cloths), & are much easier for me to manipulate so I can knit quickly & evenly. (I’ve taken Elizabeth Zimmerman’s advice to knit in the round to speed things up & to minimize joining seams.) I like that each set I’ve purchased has come with handy extras (stitch markers, panda stoppers, needle gauges, snips, etc.). I consider them a lifetime investment as I’ve been knitting for 50 years now!
