NKJV, Foundation Study Bible, Large Print, Leathersoft, Blue, Red Letter, Thumb Indexed, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version

Bought this for my wife while we were dating, and she loved it so much she accessorized it and we study through her bible very often and she uses it for other bible studies.It has cross references for bible verses which allows people to be armed with more verses on the topic, it has a lot of good explanations of some complex words, and also of the context of culture, geography of that time, it explains the cities of those times etc. It's a great tool for those who want to study the word deeper!

This is a nice bible, I am not crazy about much commentary and thankfully, this does not overwhelm the page--The WORD does. Binding seems well intact and red-letter as well as type are appreciated. The bible is bigger overall than I would prefer--it was intended to be a gift, and would be nice as color, feel and appearance are appealing.

I ordered this with large print. The print is larger than normal. My Holden Bible was made better and cost more, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be. This Nelson NKJV Study Bible is well made and easy for me to read. I can easily lay the open Bible on my lap and read both scripture and the study lines. For the price it can’t be beat. I have no problems with the bonding or ink smears on the pages. The red letter is more burgundy than red, but easily to distinguish from other type. I highly recommend this Thomas Nelson NKJV red letter, large print study Bible.

Beautiful Bible. Large print makes it so much easier to read

Here’s a quick review of this study Bible, I guess. This is also my first study Bible :) Please look at the pictures for context. Thanks.First off, the covering had some adhesive or something, but that’s alright.(first pics)At first look, it’s pretty large sized, especially compared to my previous Bible. It’s nearly double as thick, and actually has double the bookmarks (2). The font is a little bit bigger, which will probably be helpful when I’m not wearing contacts.The finger indexing is pretty good, going by threes and fours for the books of the Bible. It also includes indenting for the index, concordance, and maps.It includes quite a few study tools, which I appreciate and hope will help me learn.Superficially, the front of the Bible had a small shiny mark on it, which seemed to rub away after a few tries.I think that the study notes will be helpful and I plan on updating this if I find any ATROCIOUS translations or notes, but I hope not to.I now ask that if you’ve read this that you would please say a quick prayer that this Bible would be beneficial to my soul and help me to love God’s Word all the more. I looked and looked for a Bible for weeks. I wanted a study Bible with red letters, thumb indexing and print that I could read. It seemed that I could find one or two of there but not all of them. Then I found this! Great study notes, easy to read print, red letters and thumb indexing. I can honestly say that I read this Bible more than I did my old small typewritten Bible. This is easy to read and the comfort print makes it a dream to read. The study notes are great and don’t overwhelm me. I have learned more from this Bible than any Bible I have ever had because the study notes are written for regular people to understand. The size is perfect and I have no problem carrying it anywhere I need to. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

The holy Bible on the cover wore off fast but other then that it serves its purpose
