They are pretty bright so as long as the features weren't more than about 50' it should work

Can you dial in an exact color temperature such as 5000k?

He's right, you can only estimate the color temperature as there are no numbers on this, you mix warm and cool led intensity with the two different knobs. If your battery starts to fade it could throw off your color mix as they die because they will not drop off in brightness evenly. No. Only the lights and power supplies for into the bags. The tripods do fold up nicely though.
