For the price this is absolutely superb!
So I've been trying to find a Indoor PTZ camera to monitor my pets and home when I'm away at work and business trips. Tried by now 4 of them, each having issues which didn't make it a viable option. But this is the first which actually satisfies my needs and doesn't have any major issues.Pros:Excellent image qualityExtremely simple to mount and super lightSetup legit took 2 minutesClean app experienceWorks great on cellular networks(a big one for me)Cons:Not suited for outdoorsApp has crashed on me twice but it maybe as I'm using a foldable phoneOverall really happy with it for the price, perfect for my needs.

Great Product
I have already purchased another camera by this manufacturer and really appreciated the functionality. I bought this one to monitor my two puppies. It is quick and simple to set up and the quality is excellent, it’s portable, making easy to move to another location. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an affordable and reliable product

Didn't work
Purchased this as due to go on holiday and needed a bit of extra security. Attempted setup but the product shut off and camera became extremely hot. Contacted customer support and unfortunately, had to return the product. Maybe faulty but a risk I wouldn't take again.

Very smart
Very smart, simple yet effective camera. Great images and software works great. Only suggestion would be if could mount on a wall rather than just roof or horizontal surface - but that's being picky.

Superb little camera
I'm really impressed with this camera, in terms of looks, i love how small it is, doesn't take up much space and it looks really smart and neat, it matches pretty much anything in the house so it doesn't look out of place. In terms of functionality, straight forward set up, I already own other netvue cameras , so straight out of the box and pair it with the app and connect to WiFi.Picture quality is excellent, very clear at night too, this is ideal if you want to keep an eye out on your pet or even baby.So far I'm very pleased with it, very affordable and practical.

Great Night Vision, Nice looking kit
Firstly I already have a Netvue outdoor camera and in many respects this is the indoor version, as it's the same to setup etc. I'm perfectly happy with that, and this is fine also.I also have a different brand of indoor camera so can compare and contrast those 2.Netvue Orb Pro - I wonder what's 'Pro' about it compared to the non-pro? The box suggests it's down to higher quality video and H265, review on that below.Unpacking;Nice box, all items match, good long power cable, USB mains charger as power source. The camera itself is quite stylish, I like it.Setup; As I have the Netvue app it was pretty easy to add this, it says it can't see the 2.4ghz internet but I connected anyway (as I haven't split my bands) and it worked fine and obviously does use the 2.4ghz.My only minor complaint was the QR on the bottom wouldn't scan as (and I've seen this on my outdoor one) the phone camera doesn't refocus in the app (and tapping the screen doesn't focus it), so I had to manually type the serial number in. Think this is a slight software issue.Initially I thought it was broken as it wouldn't pan or tilt, but after a reboot it works, phew.Use;It has 9 steps on the sideways panning movement so not exactly smooth scrolling, I guess each press is about 40 degrees. This can be a slight annoyance to get it in the right position. When I put it in full screen mode (landscape) up was down and down was up, which is a bit odd, but I soon got used to that.Plus points;Picture quality is excellent both is daylight and night-time is really clear, perfect as a baby monitor.Looks - nice feel to it, movement is quietMotion detection zones can be switched off so false reports can be avoided.Speaker is loud (volume can be reduced) - and you can have conversations, so if it were in a porch you could talk to delivery drivers.LED light can be turned off (good for dark rooms, baby monitoring)Alexa enabled - although the Amazon skill can be hit and miss I've foundNegatives; No motion tracking - my other camera can track objects which I think is really helpful.I think at £49.99 it's pricey, although I got 40% off so that made it £29.99 which is comparable to other brands.Downwards panning - much like my other camera, I don't feel it pans low enough. I want to use this stood up on a shelf as a portable baby monitor looking down into the cot, but it just doesn't point low enough. The photo attached shows I have to lie it down so the lens can see into the cot. I guess if I wall-mounted it, it'd be fine, but I haven't decided if I want it mounted semi-permanently yet (you get a plate for wall-mounting so you can twist it off easily to be fair).Overall; It does what it says, and will work as designed, with a little personalisation.I wouldn't have paid £49.99 as I think there are cheaper brands that do almost the same thing, but at £29.99 that's an acceptable price-point.4* as there are slight issues with setup and panning (a lesser IT literate person might have struggled), but I'm happy enough with it, and it will add to my security camera setup.

Expected quality!
Not my first Netvue (7th to be precise:)) Nice packaging, easy to open. The setup was easy enough. It failed on the first attempt but the second attempt was successful. It only works on 2.4ghz wifi network but that is standard for most cameras like this. The device itself is small, and looks good. The camera has all the usual night vision and motion detection features you would expect. Image quality is good in daytime and night vision mode is reasonable. The came takes a micro SD card for local storage so you don’t need to buy any subscription. The app is responsive and reasonably well designed. Sleek look is a plus
