I was skeptical but wanted large round cubes for my bourbon. They are perfectly clear and disappear in your drink they are so clear. Perfect spheres with the exception of the nubs where the extra water comes out but other then that perfectly round. Really amazing ice ball maker.

This product does a great job of serving its purpose. It makes pretty clear ice, which is really cool. Much more clear than using tap water in a normal ice mold. If you want to flex on your buddies with clear bourbon ice, you’ve come to the right place.Durability is great. This thing is like a brick. It would be pretty hard to break it. It is insulated very well, that’s probably why it’s so big.Size. I took off a star here. I’m not even sure if the device could be made smaller because obviously it has to cool the water slower to create the clear ice. But this thing is so bulky! I want clear ice cubes, but not at the price of taking up unnecessary amounts of freezer space. The unit is sized like it could make roughly 6 cubes, but it only makes 2. For that same reason, it’s sort of a niche product. If I can only make 2 ice cubes at a time and it takes awhile for them to freeze, it’s not going to be very effective.Overall, i still recommend the product. It does it’s job. It makes clear ice! However, if you’re limited to freezer space or plan on using a lot of clear ice cubes, i’m not sure this is your solution.

Bought this one due it being similar to the one The Whiskey Ball company makes at half the price, and was available. Works great and easy to use.

The ice isn't clear. It's solid but not clear. Tried multiple freezing lengths, but ultimately sent it back. Not clear.
