This is a good product the value. This product is Non-Sterilizeded Gauze and will not be as thick as the Sterilized Gauze. This product is great for areas that need gauze coverage and you will be changing the dressing on a regular basis. It was thin but worked great, and when I needed more, I doubled up, but most times, the single gauze piece was just fine. You cannot beat this price, if you have to use 2 or more pieces at a time, this pack is still less expensive then what was being sold in the drug stores and the big box stores and you won't have to waste your gas or time to get when they deliver it to you

I almost didn't get it because of complaints about the material being too thin but a few folds and its just what I needed and actually a bit too thick on occasion. I eventually had to cut it in half to get it just right as the incisions healed. I bought it to recover from a gall bladder removal. 5 stars!

In conclusion, if you’re prone to accidents, or if you find yourself regularly living in some kind of DIY horror movie, Medline 4x4 Gauze Sponges are the last line of defense between you and a scene straight out of Saw. These sponges have one job—soak up the blood and keep you moving—and they do it brilliantly. P.S. If the gauze turns completely red in 2.5 seconds, it’s probably time to seek help—or just grab another sponge and keep the horror show going.

These 4x4 gauze sponges were perfect for doing wound care for my husband after surgery.

I’m an Esthetician and was expecting to use this gauze for high frequency treatments. It’s very thin and not ideal for what intended to use it for. I’ll post the brand I normally use on the left and the one I purchased on the right to show the difference.
