Works. Reliable. I liked that I can replace the batteries without having to charge via cable; I like tge option to connect a bigger button, though I wasn't able to source one that just plugs into the available connector. The volume is not adjustable, which requires working with the original file in Audacity or some other program to get the proper 'gain'

These work great for my purpose. I'm hiding them in old dial telephones for use in a in a museum. When you pick up the handset and dial "1" it tells you a narrative about the display you are looking at. The instructions that come with it are actually very good, written by somebody who speaks English as a native language. I'm buying more.

I had a problem with first two would not address the PC. Tried two cables. They were kind enough to send two more for replacement. They did not work. Started to check the cables. Data lines were open? I knew they worked before. As I checked the cables, I noticed little holes down by the USB plug. I have two cats. They must of chewed through the cable cutting the small wires. So I owe the company for two modules that work now with new cables. Sorry. I should have check this when they were not working.Amazon can you take care of getting them paid?

Was a bit hesitant but it all works fine. Batteries not included (3 xAAA).
