We bought the house from the original owner, who had had a solar powered fan installed in an east-facing gable. So as soon as the sun came up, fan powered on. Typically, it's not hot enough to justify usage first thing in the morning. The problem is the house is turned slightly off compass axis, so that by late afternoon, it's not gaining charge and the fan drops out. The install for the thermostat is bone simple. It was working yesterday afternoon while the attic temperature was above 85 degrees. It's cool this morning, and the fan is off, building charge in the battery. Outstanding...

The temperatures it works at is what they say. Very easy to hook up to their solar panel - fan setup. I would recommend the thermostat.

It turns on O.K. but it takes the temp. down to low before shutting off. I like to keep my greenhouse between 80 and 85 degrees. I am looking for a thermostat. that can be adjustable.

This is a good thermostat for fan control. I use it to keep a shipping container cool.

Turns on, but doesn't turn off. Temp dropped to 64F and finally I shut off manually. I waited a few minutes and turned back on. Temp was still 64F and yet fan was running. In my opinion, this product is a waste of time and money. My return period closed before I installed, so I'm very disappointed. Tomorrow I will replace this with a 12v digital thermostat.

Works but temperature sertings to turn on and reset is doesnt meet my needs.

Works great with attic fan. One thing to keep in mind. When you first plug it in the fan will start working even if it is not 85 degrees. When the temp. drops back to 65/68 degrees it will reset it self. Then it turns on and off at 85.
