Slate came well packed and undamaged. The mix of round and square provide flexibility for projects. These worked great with my 10w diode laser to make crystal clear engravings.

These coasters are great. Really fitted in well with the look and feel for our cottage.

As an avid laser engraver, I have engraved probably sixteen of these slate coasters over the past week or two, and my customers have loved every one of them.One of the things I really like about slate is that if it gets messed up, you can just as easily use a orbital sander to get rid of the engraving, it does take a little while, but on the upside, you can reuse it, I’ve only ever had to do it once, but from what I understand, you could do it probably five or six times before The slate is too thin and brittle to engrave again, fortunately I have not had to deal with that yet, but I’m sure at some point along the lines it may be the case.After watching a few tutorials on YouTube regarding engraving on slate, I had come up with a concoction that I spray on it before the engraving process to help bring the slate to life.I am very happy with the end result, the slate holds up extremely well, I like that there are some small rubber feet that can be stuck on the bottom to help protect table tops, they do look really good.I would definitely recommend this product to anybody that is using it for any kind of hobby or business purposes.

Good quality, engraving gifts

Arrived in a timely manner, and was able to etch them very easily.

These slate coasters have been great for making laser engraved gifts, and at roughly $1 per coaster they allow for experimentation and testing multiple different settings without costing too much. Given it's a natural material, small deviations in each coaster are expected and unavoidable. They're all about the same workable area, with the rough edge usually only taking up about a 5-8mm perimeter, and the surface is generally smooth enough to not cause issues with the laser focus. Wiping them with isopropyl alcohol before engraving helps remove oils/contaminants and any loose flakes of slate. All of my orders have been packed well and I never received any damaged pieces.

Item came packaged great! None broke. Laser engrave great. I will be buying more in the future. Recommend buying these. Amazing product for a very good price.
