Wow!! I’ve been wanting to try a shampoo bar for awhile, usually use some drugstore shampoo like Herbal Essence. My hair is fine, thin & not special. It’s very blah and I can hardly be bothered. This bar was a great price so I gave it a go and wow, I am completely impressed with my first use!I followed the directions to wet head & bar then rub bar on head from roots to tips. The amount of lather I got when I started scrubbing my head after coating the hair with the bar was insane! I’ve gone through heavy phases of “natural shampoo” before so I wasn’t expecting lather at all honestly. It was glorious! Then it all rinsed super easy & clean!I did follow up with their conditioner bar (going all in you know) and it seems like it worked too. I woke up expecting some greasy spots like normal on my scalp this morning but instead my hair feels crazy fresh and best of all is my scalp feeling so clean, no weird residues building up.So first impressions are this is a winner, great scent while showering (I’ve never been able to notice on dry hair) and very clean hair. Will update if continued use doesn’t stay on track!

My goal is to reduce my plastic waste so I've switched to bar shampoo and have tried several. This one lathers better than any other one I have tried. A few swipes of your scalp and hair and you get lots of suds and clean hair! I like the lavender scent as well. I will be buying again when this bar is gone.

I am making the switch to shampoo bars from bottles, so I am trying to find The One. I am not totally sure if this is it, but it is a fantastic start if you are thinking of trying to switch. It smells amazing with a soft, lingering scent of honey that isn't overpowering, but leaves my entire bathroom pleasantly scented.It rinses clean and take so little to work up a good foam - I have waist-length hair and am still using this bar, going on 4 months.The conditioner bar also smells amazing, but it isn't as easy to use as the shampoo. It took me a bit to figure it out, but I discovered if I used it under the water, which seemed counterintuitive, it works better. That enables it to get fully saturated, which is necessary for it to actually work into your hair.All in all, the shampoo bar is better quality than the conditioner bar, but the conditioner bar IS good, when you get the hang of it. They rinse clean, keep my hair soft and shiney and smell fantastic.

The conditioner itself smells amazing, though it is a little bit hard to get the hang of using at first if you're used to liquid shampoos and conditioners. However, it works well enough. One thing I will note is you have to wash your hair out really well or it will leave a sort of residue on your hair that makes it feel a tad oily. However, it is lovely otherwise. It comes packaged in a little paper/cardboard box, as pictured, which is a good plus if you're aiming for reducing plastic waste.

I was looking to get away from throwing away plastic bottles and heard about this bar through reviews on Amazon. It is every bit as good as the bottled shampoo. It cleans my very fine hair very well. My hair is soft and clean with no residue. It lasts forever. All you need to do is wet your hair and rub the bar in it a few times. You will be amazed how much suds it makes. You do not need much. It is very concentrated! I keep mine in a small jar in the fridge. It lasts longer for me that way. It stays hard in the bar shape and is easier to handle. If it gets warm during hot weather it gets soft and a lot gets wasted. Keeping it cold is key to getting better use out of it. That might be a deal breaker for some but I wash my hair in the kitchen sink anyway right next to the fridge:).

I have used this bar for two years now (on my third bar.) I love it! It moisturizes without being greasy. My hairdresser has complimented my hair health.My hair is straight, fine and on the greasier side but it can dry out fast too.The smell is light but also a bit like a citronella bug candle lol. Not the best smell but it doesn’t really last on the hair.

My Hair Type: Fine texture, but high density (a lot of hair). It is also very long, reaching almost to my lower back.The Shampoo Bar (4/5 Stars): The shampoo variant is incredible. It has a fantastic fragrance and lathers up beautifully. It left my scalp and hair feeling completely clean without drying it out or leaving it greasy. However, there is a structural issue: after about five weeks of washing a few times a week, the bar completely shattered into roughly 12 tiny pieces, even though it wasn't worn thin yet. I never dropped it, and it sits up high on a slotted dish away from water, so it wasn't a moisture issue. Washing with tiny fragments is difficult, but the formula is so good that I would consider actually buy the shampoo again.The Conditioner Bar (2/5 Stars): The conditioner variant was a miss for me. After five weeks, it has physically held together better than the shampoo, but it has turned into a strange, "bendy" texture. It doesn't lather, which is fine, but it completely lacks that smooth, lotion-like coating you expect from a conditioner. No matter how much water I use or how much I rub my hands together, I can't get any product transfer. Because my hair is so long, I have to aggressively scrub the bar directly onto my hair, which is exhausting. The smell is just okay, not horrible, but not a standout like the shampoo.Final Verdict: I highly recommend the shampoo formula if you don't mind dealing with potential fracturing toward the end. However, if you have very long hair that needs a lot of slip and easy application, I would pass on the conditioner.

When I first purchased a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner bar, my girlfriend thought I was going a little too far with the hippie stuff. Now she’s ditched bottled shampoo and conditioner and even bought one for her shower at her mother’s house. She noted that her hair felt nice and soft, and liked that there wasn’t any build up on her scalp. I’m very sensitively scalped myself, and I’m constantly itching it at a slightest change in my environment, but this soap really reduces that.I definitely recommend taking a chance on the soap. You have little to lose as it’s pretty inexpensive. I also love that I can travel with this and opt out of hotel disposable bottles. Big win!

This is a lovely conditioner bar and works well.

Other shampoos have left my hair greasy, but this one has left it completely smooth and slick! Definitely need more of this. Gonna get some the moment it gets back in stock.

This is a good value conditioner bar that's easy to use. It coats the hair well and moisturizes however, it's slightly too rich for my fine, on the oily side, hair.

This is a lovely soap. I had a little red mark on my nose for at least six months. It has now almost gone away! I suspect I have the manuka honey in the soap to thank for that. I will definately buy it again as my skin appearance has improved overall.
