CUKOR Double Cast Iron 2 Burner, 1800W Countertop Burner, Dual Electric Stove Burners, Portable Double Burner for Cooking

I've had this dual burner for about 3-ish months. This is our main source of how to cook, and the burners work great. Heat up quickly, don't leave a nasty/weird smell, and for the price you can't beat trying to fine one elsewhere that would come with an 18-month warranty! Unfortunately my larger burner stopped working but I was able to reach out to the manufacturer (Cukor) and because they give you an amazing FREE manufacturers warranty for 18 months, I got it replaced! Customer service was upstanding, especially working with Alice and quick turnaround for responses!

When our kitchen was being renovated, I bought the Cukor hot plate with two burners. It has worked perfectly. It gets hot quickly and stays hot, so the food gets cooked properly. It is as easy to use as anything can be. Just turn the knob under the burner you want to use to high, and you are cooking in no time. It got the water boiling in my 8 quart pot about as quickly as my gas range did. The only issue is that the temperature is either high or off. Turning down the knob just turns the heat off. But that wasn't a problem for us. We just adjusted our cooking time and strategy. The hotplate is easy to clean, and after 3 months of heavy use, it still looks new, and it works just fine.

Put this baby in my check in bag and headed to Guatemala! It worked great the whole month i was there and is still being used by family there. I wish it was big enough to fit 2 big pans at the same time but nonetheless. Cooked evenly and quickly. Great lil stove.

This unit has been a lifesaver during our kitchen remodel! This 2-burner unit is surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle for its size! It’s perfect for taking on camping trips or moving between the kitchen and the patio when we need extra cooking space. The compact design makes it effortless to tuck away in a cupboard when not in use. I’m really impressed with the temperature control on this double burner. The knobs allow for very fine adjustments, and once it reaches the set heat, they stay there without fluctuating. The cast iron plates heat up very consistently and stay warm for a long time after turning them off, which is great for keeping food at serving temperature. It feels solid, the non-slip feet keep it stable on the counter, and it's surprisingly easy to wipe clean.

MOST RECENT DEVELOPMENT: the large burner just died! I contacted customer service because it is under warranty. Waiting for their response. UPDATE: I feel the same about this product a year later, as I did when I originally posted the review. One magic thing about it I didn't mention - the ease of cleaning! Unbelievably, whatever is spilled or splattered on it is cleaned EXACTLY as the manufacturer says - with a soft cloth! At first I didn't believe it, but yes, that all it takes - wipe off with a soft cloth and it's spotless! Whoa, what a surprise, a pleasant one for sure! This little thing brings water to boil in no time at all. Even with both burners on, food gets cooked quickly. The best part? Once the burners are heated fully and food cooks, you can turn it down to 2 (out of 6 levels) and it continues to cook perfectly. Works wonders with cast iron dishes. Both the burners and cast iron dishes retain heat and keeping on very low allows cooking to continue without spending too much energy! Steaks done perfectly: crispy on the outside and nicely rare inside, veggies stir-fried in no time ... I love it! Now, this has been just a few days, but used at least twice a day, let's hope it performs the same wonderful way in the long run. Another plus: kudos to the manufacturer: when registering the product you receive additional 6 months of warranty, extending it from 12 months to 18 months - nice move Cukor. Thank you.

01/31/2024 UPDATE UPDATE: This little hot plate worked just fine for a little over two years. Then the PLASTIC control knob started getting loose due to the heat distortion and I ended up using a small pair of vise grips to control the temperature. Really? You use plastic for a heat adjustment knob on a stove? How tacky is that? Then it sometimes would turn down/off when I needed it to and then again, sometimes not. Now it will not turn completely off. It gates down to what I would estimate to be about the number 2 setting. So,,, I'm taking back two stars and saving them for something that will last more than a couple years. 12/13/2022 UPDATE: Well, it's been almost two years now and this little gizmo is a workin still. I am more than a little surprised that for about $32, this has held up so well./ Before this, I bought a Duxtop for about $75-$80 and it only lasted about two months. A total turd! I guess I'll mention that the paint around the heat control knob is coming off which is no big deal at all. And, the control is starting to feel a little wonky but it still works just fine. It still boils a 2-quart kettle of water in about five minutes (about like when it was new). After two years, I have absolutely no complaints about this hot plate. Original Review: 09/19/2021 AU: WELL, I'VE HAD THIS COOK TOP FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW AND WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS, IT STILL WORKS VERY WELL. IT IS SO DIFFICULT TO FIND A COOK TOP THAT WILL HOLD UP FOR MORE THAN A MONTH OR TWO. I STILL LIKE IT!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've only had this single burner hot plate for one day so this review is an initial observation. It has a weight and feel to it that makes you think it is a high quality product. The heat control moves smoothly and does not feel loose or wobbly. The plate heats up reasonably quickly and boils a 2-quart pot of water in just a few minutes. I even used my cast iron wok on it and it performed very well. The non-slip feet all touch down at the same time so the appliance is not wobbly I have gone through a few hot plates with less than stellar luck over the last two years so I will monitor this one and check back with a review update from time to time. I’ve been really happy with this double burner. It’s easy to use, heats well, and has been nice to have when I need a little extra cooking space. I like that I can use both sides at once, and it’s compact enough that it doesn’t feel like a huge appliance to drag out. I also think it would be super handy beyond just home use. It would be great for sporting events, tailgates, or any situation where you have access to an outlet and want to keep food warm or cook something simple. Overall, I’m glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a practical extra burner.

Very disappointing I read some reviews saying it heated very fast so I bought it as soon as I got it I tried it and it had a horrible smell that made my head hurt I used my food thermometer and it went as high as 130 on high it took forever to warm up a soup then I said maybe it needed to start up so I did some eggs and again it took me about 40+ to cook the chorizo then add the eggs so it’s a no for me returning it don’t waste your money and it doesn’t even fit a normal size fry pan.

Calienta igual de rapido que una estufa de gas, y a temperatura baja tarda mas tiempo en llevar un baso de agua a ebullicion. Ahorra dos tercaras partes de lo que gasto en gas y el costo de la luz es el doble de lo que pago, solo la uso yo todos los dias y me he ahorrado dinero.

No cuento con una estufa normal. Pero sin duda se puede cocinar muy bien, la temperatura del calor no se puede medir como uno quisiera, pero no hay necesidad. Llevo 2 meses con ella y no tengo ningún problema ni del aparato, ni digestivo xD Excelente producto 👍

La placa calienta muy rápido, solo la primera vez que la use tardo de 8 a 10 min. en calentar y salió un poco de humo, la uso diario 2 veces y sin problemas, el cable mide aprox un metro así que hasta ahorita excelente

Calienta rápido y muy bien. Llegó en tiempo y está en excelente estado.
