Ich habe einen Lagotto. Merkmal dieser Rasse ist das ständig weiterwachsende Haar, eben auch im Ohr. Schnell bilden die einen Pfropf, der den Abtransport des Schmodders im Ohr blockiert und zu unschönen Entzündungen führt. Mit dem Otoskop kann ich auf einfache Weise mal nachgucken, was da im Ohr so vor sich geht. Auch wenn im Sommer Grannenzeit ist, kann ich nun selber kontrollieren, ob da etwas eingedrungen ist, das entfernt gehört. Es ersetzt keinen Gang zum Tierarzt, sollte wirklich etwas sein, aber zur Kontrolle, ob alles in Ordnung ist, ist dieses Gerät super geeignet und völlig ausreichend.
