My wife purchased this for me for my basement workshop. I'm building a walnut table and that dust can be nasty. This mask is easy to put on and take off, yet it prevents the fine dust from getting in my lungs.

Did it's job but the plastic piece keep coming off

After trying a couple of RZ masks I gave up on the fit. Couldn't get any size to feel comfortable AND seal well. I ordered this AstroAI mask and immediately I could tell the fit was comfortable and the edge of the mask/filter sealed well. But I closely looked at the valve (exhale valve) and could see the flapper membrane was elevated and not sealing when inhaling. I dismantled the seals and reversed the membrane and even though it was improved it was very obvious that both were leaking. I removed the valve and put it up to my mouth and could easily inhale through it, complete fail. My fix was easy in my case, I removed the two valves from a RZ-M1 mask I had and swapped the valves into the AstroAI mask. All is good, great mask-valve combo now but the average person is not going to have spare 'good' valves around so I can not recommend this mask.

Cool concept. However, the mask is super big and there isn’t a way to adjust. I’m average size with a normal size head. The Velcro strap is too long. I have it at the tightest fit and it’s still too big. I’ve also had to adjust the elastic around the ears to at least half the stretch amount. Overall, it’s a poor design. I don’t recommend if you really need to keep all particles out of your lungs.

Probably a good mask but unless you tighten the strap to the point of decapitation it keeps slipping off. Very annoying!

I run a cabinet shop & HATE masks, but this one is quite comfortable, even for long periods. My lungs are grateful.
