Great amp
Holds a charge for longer than i expected and makes my 55 ohm headphones sound better than they did b4. Also the bass and gain boost makes the treble and bass more punchy. Only increases the volume a little, but it was already loud enough tbh

A good, if not 5 star, low profile headphone amp
I got this Topping strictly as a to-go headphone amp, since I already have an older but reliable Fiio E11 amp for most uses. Well, this new Topping is fantastic, it's sturdy, easy as hell to use, charges fast, has bass boost and a gain switch, nice metal case, seems well-designed, packaging was fine, accessories are great. My only complaint is that driving my most demanding cans, the HIfiman HE400Is, they seem to lack a tiny bit of power that would really put them over the top. This was running it all via a Bassplay lossless player. If I run them with the amp through my home theater receiver,I'm sure they will have plenty of power to spare using those phones, though.Contrast this to my newer electrostatic Cyberdrive over the ear cans that I'm listening to right now, a more portable pair of headphones, and the Cyberdrives are driven much more easily and sound phenomenal with the Topping amp, with a good deal of power to spare. So I wouldn't recommend this amp for anyone trying to drive planar or high ohmhigh-end headphones, but any decent pair otherwise should benefit from this amp. The blue power lightand back end red charging light are nice to have. So far the amp sounds very clean, no distortion, punchy, and the bass boost and gain modes really do work well. If you want a lot more power and go higher-end,I would consider Topping's larger or desktop amps, or get a really good Fiio amp. For the price, however, this NX1 is a serious competitor for various other brands, including Fiio.

It works great
Works great, smaller than I thought but they that’s a good thing for a portable electronic. Struggles to move my 300 ohm headphones but makes my smaller headphones so loud I need to adjust the volume

Very Good Quality Amp For Very Little Money
This will be brief. I am an "audiophile" who is 64 and built my first amp from a kit when I was 12. I have 2 non-portable headphone amps in my 5.1 surround sound system. One is a Schiit Asgard 2 ($250) and a BeyerDynamic A20 ($500). I have 5 portable amps: Filo A3, Headroom Total Bithead, Little Dot Micro and 2 Toppings (1 and 2). This little amp will drive my least sensitive (89dbw) and highesst ohmage (650 0hms) headphones to deafening levels. I really have a problem telling a quality difference between my Total Bithead ($200) and this little guy. I know there has to be a difference but my very good hearing can't pick it up. If you don't have much cash, you absolutely can't go wrong with this amp. The only problem seems to be quality control with Topping. At this price if it only lasts a year or two, who cares.

good sound cheap price
bought this for allowing my headphones to work with my tablet which is anemic in sound. this allowed me to use my headphones on a plane and actually hear.

Good for 3 months
I have had mine for 3 months and it started clipping and finally it gave out. I haven't figured out how to contact the company but I'm hoping this is a fluke and I can get it replaced because I did like it
