They work just like the name brand. The 10mg is a very tiny pill in the generic version. This makes them impossible to cut up for small dogs.

Tiny pills - designed not to be split
We chop 10mg tablets into 5mg for our cat. These smaller pills were a good price, but when we rec'd them it was obvious that they could not be split.They may be hard for some people to handle due to the small size - but I'm sure they are easy to swallow.
