FEED GARDEN Dog Car Barrier for SUV, Heavy Duty Steel Wire Mesh Pet Divider

This is the only car barrier that I found that works for my dogs. I still have to fasten them to seatbelts because they are stubborn huskies and will attempt to climb over it in the small gap between the barrier and the ceiling of my car. But overall, this has been the best at keeping my dogs in the back so they don't try to get under my feet looking for crumbs while I'm trying to drive. I will say that the only drawback is it's not super easy to put up and take down, so I leave it up in my car between the back seats and the trunk and I only have to take it down when I need to fold my seats down for whatever reason. So it's best used as something you leave up all the time rather that something you intend to remove frequently. But with all that being said, it's quite durable, it's adjustable so you can make it fit your car better (I have a Honda CRV 2016 and it fits perfectly), and I think it comes with a bungee cord or two, which helps keep it from rattling when you're on the highway or a bumpy road or whatever. I have my secured well enough that it doesn't move or make noise at all when I'm driving - I don't even notice it most of the time. also, because of the design, I feel like it's easy to see through it and it doesn't obstruct my view out of the back of my car at all. 10/10 would recommend if you have rowdy dogs that can't stay out of the front seats while you're trying to drive.

Exactly what I needed to travel with my doberman and keep him exactly where he belongs and not in the front seat or on the arm rest in the front of the vehicle.

Vehicle: 2011 Volvo XC60 Pro: this product does exactly as designed! It is a sturdy barrier between a row in a SUV. The bungee chords appear strong, and the barrier sits firmly against the back headrests. Con: even though I measured the width as suggested in other reviews before tightening the knob things, I still ended up needing to readjust. That process WAS a pain, but NOT enough to turn me away from the product. For my vehicle, the barrier is too tall so it cannot fit flush against the sides. Tip: for Volvo owners, pull out the trunk privacy cover before installing. Then replace after as seen in pics! I recommend this product for sure.

I was a little worried that the design of this pet barrier would mean it was less than durable, but we’ve used it multiple times, and it’s been great! Before I purchased it, our 60lb dog would do everything in his power to climb over and into the back seat with the kids, which was less that ideal when I was in the middle of driving. This keeps him securely in the back while allowing him to still interact with the kiddos. It was easy to adjust to fit my vehicle and install was a breakage with another set of hands to help me (it’s easier if one person is on each side of the barrier to feed the straps through the grating). At this price point, I’d say it’s a great purchase!

Seems very durable! The set up is doable with one person but would be best with two so you don’t drive yourself crazy!

Does not stay up well, my dog is able to squeeze enough to where she can push it out of place and make it past it

well after a few months of using these, I'm still torn. I got it to keep the dogs in one area of my new car because the one I had already wouldn't fit. The price was right so I grabbed it. On one hand it does keep the dogs where I want them to be - on the other hand, the mounting system is totally cheesy - pretty much you bungie cord it to the back of the seat. The cords come off, the thing falls over, and as its bungie cords, a few minutes of dedicated chewing would pretty much total the thing until you can buy more bungie cords. My older barrier had a much more permanent and stable mounting system. I'm not disgusted but also not thrilled by this product.
