If you use a phone case, the wider slot will probably be needed. Be aware that if fully inside the slot, it will limit the microphone pickup during video/phone chat, unless you move it up slightly. But solid, simple and well made at a cost that's reasonable for what you get. I can live with the logo stencilled across the top, though would prefer it to be smaller!

I ordered this for a present but it came in a box with the parts and screws to assemble with no instructions whatsoever. The screws were not even in a separate bag inside the box that they could have caused scratches on the product during transport. I cannot give this as a present to anyone - it will look like I just don’t care enough.
