Q: This dose not fit when the connect is on the ninjas unless you put in the drive then add the connect with out screwing the connect to the ninja?

You would have to screw the ssd to the lunchbox for best secure connection. Or you can just slide the ssd in and out but you do risk that the Ssd will potentially fall out. I connected mine with the included screws very very simple process and it works great. Highly recommended. Hope this helps
