Hi, The ingredients come from a variety of places. None of our ingredients are sourced from China. Liver, gelatin, whey, fish oil powder, barley grass are all made in the US. The calcium lactate comes from Norway, kelp from Canada and taurine from Taiwan. Taiwan and China are the only places in the world where taurine is produced. All ingredients are 100% human grade.Yes, Better in the Raw for Cats can be used with cooked meat. The preparation would be a little different, in that the powder would need to be added to the meat after it's cooked and cooled. Heating or cooking the product can destroy essential nutrients. We do offer another product specifically for preparing cooked homemade cat food - the product name is U-Stew for Cats. U-Stew is identical to Better in the Raw, but has added digestive enzymes and pre-biotics.Thank you

Q: What is the thiamine content per serving?

There's 1.80 mg per 1/4lb. daily serving.

Q: Can I return this if my cat won’t eat it. I use in cooked meat and liver. Is theree liver in this?

Yes there is powdered liver listed in the ingredients. When switching your cat over from kibble, this new diet has to be introduced slowly over a week to two. I personally use a little more water and mainly raw meat. I have two cats and they love eating fresh raw food.
