Soft Natural 100% Cotton Sateen Queen Sheets, 4 Pc Set, Bright White

I hesitated to buy these sheets. I prefer flannel most of the year, but summer has hit and something cooler and lighter than flannel is needed. I bought teal. These are vivid in color and silky smooth. The fitted sheet has deep corners and has two tags telling me head/foot so that frustration is avoided. The flat sheet is long enough to have a good tuck-in and still fold down a good amount at the top. The edges of my queen sheet hang over more than the mattress height. Two pillowcases came (which was expected). The edges inside are well finished rather than left raw. All seams are exact with small stitches, and I have found no skipped stitches. I will recommend this willingly. These are excellent quality for a great inexpensive price with no skimping in the produced product.

This beautiful 100% Cotton Shabby Chic look Queen Sz Bed Linen Set Vintage Rose print arrived yesterday, 13 Sep 26 and while I don't normally do laundry on Sunday, I was excited that everything I ordered arrived together and ecstatic that Amazon didn't keep me waiting 🩷🩵 as that would be a first time anyone didn't keep me waiting. 😉🩵🩷 So! I had to get them laundered and on my bed for after my relaxing shower, I was going to be ready to try them. They arrived smelling horrible; however, a delicate wash on cold setting with low delicate drying had them meeting my expectations when they came out of the dryer with virtually no wrinkles AT ALL and smelling so refreshing. I used 100% wool dryer balls, NO fabric softener and by the time I got them on my bed, they were looking some kind of wonderful!! There wasn't any pilling with this initial laundering. They don't feel extra soft, but they aren't supposed to already. I come from a home that always used cotton PERCALE linens so I am actually familiar with how cotton linens should feel. Those were the good ole days when anything 180 TC and above was top percale! Unfortunately, that quality doesn't exist anymore at an affordable price!! I don't know how long they will hold up durability wise; however, the queen set of 2 queen size pillow cases, 1 bottom fitted sheet and one flat top sheet seem to be well-made in India. The presentation was in a cardboard recyclable box, wrapped/covered with a piece of tissue paper and a thank you card from Deepak with instructions on how to care for the 4 piece set. I love the set so far. It is so me and lovely. I love the shabby chic look and vintage rose print on this set of linens. Beautiful linens bring me much happiness and I know I will love them and take real good care of them and hopefully they will last a while. I will probably buy another set soon as who doesn't need another beautiful set of linens?! Thank you California and Amazon! If anything changes down the road, I will edit the review. 🩵🩷

The comfort of these is unmatched! They are very cool and comfy! I took them out of the package and washed and used immediately and the more I wash the softer they get! they fit my daughters full size bed great! I will buy in more colors!

I rated these sheets at a 3 because they are NOT sateen. Sateen feels like a high quality silk. This is combed cotton. If I wanted combed cotton then I would have ordered combed cotton. Yes this matters. Sateen has a slippery feel. I’m currently washing these sheets to remove the chemical that makes it feel like starch. Modern day buyers grew up with polyester and write reviews as if they know the different types of cotton. I have sewn like with a sewing machine for at least 50 years. I know fabric. Are these sheets good? For cheap sheets, yes they are good. Is the color the same as in the marketing photo, my camera photo makes them look brighter than they are. In person they look pastel. Do they stretch? No. Do they resist stain? Once washed, no. Do they have deep pockets? Pockets are okay but not what I call deep. Are these sheets worth buying? If you’re looking for the luxurious sleek feel of sateen, no. If you like rough cotton sheets at a great value, yes! If the description removes the sateen label and just writes “combed cotton” then I’ll edit the stars. Why? Combed cotton can be used to make sateen. It’s a one direction process. Sateen is not satin. It’s not polyester. It is the most beautiful and luxurious of the cotton textiles. Because of the tighter weaving, sateen is warmer than other cotton weaves. Sateen is smooth and silky. These sheets are rough. Cotton is the protection around tiny seeds of cotton. The seeds are removed and used for other purposes. The fluffy cotton washed and given different treatments and then is twisted and turned into thread. Different cotton treatments have different prices. Sateen fibers is the same cotton that has been soaked in a chemical called lye which is a base kinda like bleach is a base. Then the treated fibers are soaked in acid. This is important because the acid neutralizes the base the way people who use lye relaxer to straighten curly hair must use an “neutralizer” to cancel the the effect of the lye. Sateen accepts dyes better and the colors are brilliant even when natural organic colors are used. Dyed sateen has a shine. It’s not polyester like many people think. The process gives it the shine. So that’s what I thought I was buying - sateen. Y'all can write all day long to combat this review but this is not sateen. Somebody failed if they were trying to make sateen. Combed cotton which is what the label says it is has more durability than regular cotton. If it is indeed combed cotton, then it’s worth more than the price here because combed cotton is more durable than than sateen. So think it’s a great price for the set but it’s not sateen. No way is this sateen. Someone may have tried to make sateen and failed. It’s a nice set of sheets and I would recommend them to friends and family and might buy more sets but with the full knowledge that it’s not sateen. Combed cotton is used to make sateen. The full process must be completed to have sateen. What to do with a failed process? Sell it cheap on Amazon. This sheet set may be exactly the sleep experience that some people want. Before sleeping on these sheets, be sure to wash them first to remove the coating of sizing - like a starch found on almost all sheets when new out of the package. I just don’t take chances and wash them first. Remember - sateen is not rough at all. If a cotton fabric is rough and dull then it’s not sateen. In a world where plastic is used to trick people into thinking they are wearing cotton and real silk, I’m unsure if this review helps any decide if they will or will not buy. I just want people to get what they were advertised. It’s a great buy for what you get, but it’s not sateen.

I've reviewed comments for everything from the least expensive to the most, and all have the similar number of negative responses referring to things like sand paper rough, loose threads, tearing, wrinkled, never buy again...you name it, there are always a certain % of people that for some reason are just upset at the world. This sheet set, all of $31, fit my needs perfectly. Nice substantial elastic all around, pockets deep enough to fit my 10" deep mattress with 2" to spare, plenty soft after initial washing....and no, not wrinkly (and who cares, they're cotton and cotton wrinkles...does that make it hard to sleep if in your mind you know you're sleeping on wrinkles)? Slept like a dog last night, and so did my dog. Good so far, we'll see how they hold up. And who cares if they're made in India...I doubt any bed sheets are made in the USA.

The color of the sheets is spectacular! A rich and deep purple that reminds me of dark academia. There is a slight sheen to them, but they are NOT sateen. I live with chronic pain on a daily basis. Finding comfort to sleep has become increasingly difficult. I was very much anticipating soft sheets to sleep on. Not only are these sheets not soft they are scratchy and somewhat thin. They're like the cheap percale sheets that Kmart used to sell. Before using I washed them in warm water and dried on low. Maybe after 20 more washing they'll soften up, but I doubt it. They seem to be well constructed and won't fall apart if cared for properly.

These cotton sheets are a little stiff, but I actually like them. They feel durable, breathable, and well-made. I think they will become softer with more washes.

I have to say that the blankets have a really nice texture. They look like good quality, and the color is just as expected. The blankets did have a strong smell when they arrived, so I washed them and thankfully, the smell went away. Overall, I’m happy with them.

Love those sheets, they look silky once washed but they are not once out of dryer it’s a thicker cotton like I love and they don’t shrink. I bought the charcoal grey which was on special. Whenever the other colours come on special I’ll buy again. The king size was on special at 54$
