Does it kill scorpions?

I'm not sure. We don't live where there are scorpions. We only use it to keep our chicken coop fresh.

What is the difference between this and regular hydrated lime? Can it be used in an outhouse the same as hydrated lime?

Great question! Our product is hydrated lime Ca(OH)2 has had carbon dioxide added into it + CO2 → CaCO3, which makes it less caustic.
