Works great so far. (boating use)
I bought this for use in my bass boat. I had an inexpensive tablet that couldn't stand the heat. I used it 6 hours today mostly in the sun. It worked great. Screen is bright enough for most sun use. It's the same brightness as my Lowrance Sonar unit. The only time brightness is a problem is in direct sunlight, while wearing sun glasses. (same as my Lowrance Elite Ti2) Temperate was upper 80's and Sunny today. It never overheated. Battery was 70% after 6 hours with the display on bright most of the time. Works great with the Navionics boating app, and Mercury Vessel View Mobile. Will update about durability after a few months.

I don't see why this is so expensive.
While this rugged tablet aims for durability in field work, the touchscreen has proven to be barely responsive in my experience. Although it's thin and lightweight, and boasts waterproof and dustproof features, the frustration with the screen significantly impacts usability. Considering the performance, especially the sluggish touchscreen, and the older Android 9.0 OS, there are definitely more capable and responsive tablets available for a much lower price point. While the battery life is decent, and it has various connectivity options, the core interaction with the device through the touchscreen is a major drawback.

Very fast processing sturdy construction, and bright screen for daylight use.
