This was an exact replacement o-ring for my Porter cable stapler. I was using my stapler for the first time in a long time last week when air from the compressor flow straight through the tool, and the tool no longer able to compress any staples out of it, I took the tool apart and found the o-ring broken inside.When I took this o-ring out of its package I immediately thought that it was the wrong item, it looked smaller than what I took out of the tool. What I didn't realize is that these O-rings stretch inside the tool overtime and stiffen up, thus they appear larger when removed. These O-rings stretch and dry up over the years, when inserting the replacement ring it will easily stretch over where it belongs. I installed the o-ring and then tested the tool for leaks, the seal worked perfectly.The item description is accurate, trust that the tools that they list are indeed compatible with this particular O-ring, but do your due diligence and make sure that you need this particular part by first taking the tool apart to find out what you need and then going online and looking at the part diagram for your parrticular tool, that's what I did to make sure that I was ordering the right part.Lastly, this particular part looks like a very durable o-ring that will give me just as many more years of service as the original one did for me.

Easy replacement and fix for air nailer.

My Porter Cable nailer gasket failed and I ordered these based on the reviews and description. It does work, but it is slightly smaller and does not have the same cross section, which is why I'm giving it a 4 since it's not an exact match. Time will tell how long it holds up.

This rebuild kit for my Porter Cable nailers worked great and I highly recommend it. Made my nailers work like new again.
