I've been using Brickell products for over 3 years now. After trying countless face washes, I've landed on this being the GOAT. I have combination type skin, sometimes oily and sometimes dry. My face also needs to be prepared to handle the cold wind and ice conditions of northern Minnesota in the winter time, and this is the only face wash both powerful enough to cleanse my skin and gentle enough to repair it after being exposed to frigid conditions. My skin feels noticeably softer and smoother after using it.I typically use the charcoal face wash in the shower and follow up with the face moisturizer and it's pretty bulletproof.I gave this order 4 stars and not 5 because I always order the Unscented version, which has no noticeable scent at all, but for some reason Amazon and Brickell sent me what appears to be a scented version- the wash has a strong smell of Eucalyptus. Not exactly a bad thing, but it is also not what I thought I had ordered.All in all Brickell products are always reliable and you're getting your money's worth. Very top notch-quality products.

Having purchased the sample pack from the Brickell website some time ago, I have since purchased full sized products, and when I needed a new face wash, this was my choice.As opposed to kaolin clay or similar ingredients in other products, the charcoal in this helps my skin feel cleaner and I can use this more days in a row without irritation or dryness. I have very sensitive skin and have had no dermatitis flareups.The main ingredient is not water, which works out here, making it easier to spread the wash on your face and stay there to do it's work. (I recommend putting it on 2/3 of the way through your show and letting it 'mask' for a minute, but you can also wash at the sink with immediate rinse for the same effect).Noting also with my skin sensitivity, the mint and lemongrass are lower on the ingredient list, allowing for a little aromatherapy without related irritation.Washes off cleanly and with the scent, you'll feel the difference on the first wash, and using it most days, a consistent clean feel to your skin.Price point is also excellent for the quality and amount.All in all, no negatives, worth the investment in your skin.
