Works really well. It has a good crimp and easy to use. The tool is real sturdy and not cheaply made.

I used this tool to crimp three ferrules on 8 gauge wire. It worked perfectly making a safe connection for a generator inlet box.

Easy to use and has worked well

Definitely not for larger wire. I crimped some 6 awg fine stranded wire and it distorts the crimp. Worked fine 10 awg. I specifically purchased this for the larger wire. My work around was to lightly crimp and use the release and depend on the screw terminal to finish the job. The tension adjustment worked great. With electrical terminations you need to know if it is a round or square terminal. This is more for rounded terminals.

C'est mon nouveau joujou... Presque j'aime bricoler l'électricité maintenant ! J'ai toujours trouvé les connexions assez limite - ce système de vis qui écrase quelques fils, mais pas tous... Je les torsade bien sûr mais bon, ça reste pas terrible... C'est pourquoi j'adore ces petits embouts qu'on vient emmancher sur les fils puis qu'on serre avec cette pince: c'est quand même plus sérieux ! Enfin je fais des connexions digne de ce nom ! Comme j'aime bien le bon matériel solide qui dure au moins le temps de ma vie, et si possible aussi des générations suivantes, j'ai hésité avec la Knipex à sertir à €150, référence des électriciens. Mais avec peut être à peine 500 sertissages à faire tout au long de ma seconde moitié de vie, et aucune assurance que mon fils bricole comme moi un jour, à 4 fois le prix j'ai hésité. Et bien, un an et environ 50 sertissages après mon achat, je ne regrette pas du tout ce très bon rapport qualité/prix.

been working great for my ferrule needs. I like the knobby crimp it makes as it helps terminals grip onto the ferrule. consistent crimps, much better than trying to use a die on a regular jaw crimper.
