I absolutely love the New Balance Rave Run v2 sneakers! They are lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for everyday activities. Oh my goodness, these shoes have been perfect for my 10-year-old! He has very wide feet and also has difficulty walking and running comfortably in shoes that feel too heavy. These are lightweight, very roomy and wide, and he can move around comfortably in them. He also has sensory sensitivities and doesn’t like wearing regular socks, and he needs arch-support inserts in his shoes. Even after adding his arch supports and wearing his thin, flat socks, there was still plenty of room and the shoes stayed comfortable without feeling tight or heavy. Finding shoes that accommodate everything he needs can be difficult, so I’m extremely happy with these. I’ll definitely be buying them in more colors and would absolutely recommend them for kids who need a wider, lightweight and comfortable shoe!

My son just started cross country and wears out his shoes really fast. Has wide and sensitive feet. He loves these shoes and were able to run in them from day 1.

Bought for a 6 year old with wide feet. These were his most worn shoes all summer. He said they were comfortable and walked many miles around zoos and nature trails. Never a blister or complaint about sore feet. They’re starting to fall apart now, after 5 months of heavy wear (think 10,000+ outdoor steps multiple times a week). We did hate the laces. They came untied a lot. They seem a bit overpriced for the quality. Ultimately I’m buying another pair because they fit well and it’s hard to find shoes for kids with wide feet once they outgrow the “little kid” size category.

True to size Comfortable Look great Laces are difficult to tie for small fingers I've bought at least 10 pair of these for my son since this is the only nice brand of wide running shoes that look like typical tennis shoes for kiddos. My son is a wide but just a smidge away from double wide so I purchase the double wide when possible for extra comfort. He picked red this time but we've had different shades of blue and black. The colors and designs are always vivid. The laces don't stay tied well, even with double knots, and are tricky for new tie-ers to tie. I replace the laces with elastic, no tie laces. I usually buy black or white laces but took a chance on red and they matched perfectly! They're also purchased on Amazon, the brand is anon520.
