Can you substitute tortilla with shredded cheese?

Would not recommend it doesn't cook the tortilla evenly. Would rate it a zero

Can I cook a homemade tortilla with this?

I guess you can cook a homemade tortilla with it

How long does it take to bake one

Don’t take long at all it has to heat up first give it about 10 or 15 min an make away

What causes the tortillas to come out of maker with holes in them?

I’m assuming in the corners (at the bottom). Try putting your tortillas in the microwave to make them more playable then they shouldn’t break.
