Exceeds expectations
I love this. I made my first tub of ice cream, lemon to be exact, and it turned out well. Only thing that would be nice is if the container came with a cover, but put the ice cream in a different container and threw it in the freezer.

Not for people wanting to make ice cream seriously.
Remember the Easy Bake oven we all loved and wanted as kids? Well here is the ice cream maker équivalant. The ice cream makers appearance is cute and not cheap in feel, and would be fitting for teaching and child how to make ice cream or smoothies but as for seriously wanting to create the product, I cannot recommend. The motor is weak and isn’t able to reach the proper consistency without human intervention. I would imagine it going out after 20 uses depending on how well you take care of it. Eventually needed to mix myself to just get to right consistency. It was able to reach a very thick smoothie level only. Does not make a lot and if you wanted too would require significant time. Constant re-freezes of the container (since this one doesn’t have a compressor, which I knew going in but didn’t realize how long it would take for so little). I wouldn’t recommend for those trying to make some ice cream or even ice cream protein substitutes. Just invest the money in a decent one. It’s much more worth it than this effort.
