I've had this for a few months now, the sound is great. Perfect for those who want big bass but don't want to draw too much attention. Highly recommend this sub for those who want bass but not too much bass if that makes any sense lol. Bass is big enough for me, I can hear it from inside my apartment but not feel it, which doesn't bother me at all because it's exactly what I was looking for seeing I live in an apartment complex. 😁 definitely worth the money, the way it's build is great as well no need for a space booster to lift off the floor of the car. Overall I'm highly satisfied with my sub purchase, it works phenomenal for me.🥰

I purchased the smallest 8” Sub and box. Wasn’t expecting much. I mainly bought it for the box. I planned to swap out the sub for a name brand one but no need. This little thing hits good. As others stated it won’t rattle the neighbors but it puts out great bass in my little scion XB.

These things are up with the name brands. The fitment was phenomenal. People mistakenly assumed I had 2 12’s and they were simple to install. Very small with a big punch! I will use these for my next set of subs. The build is very sturdy, powerful hit, and great dollar amount.

I really tried to make this speaker work. Played with the port. Played with the equalizer. But it is just a muddy sound. It is like the thing is tuned to one frequency and you get a good boom boom for that freq. but none other. I had already biffed the speaker box (not very returnable) and so my solution was to buy a cheap component 12 " woofer and put it in the box. Much MUCH better sound but together not cheap. I would sell the Rockville 12" speaker for cheap...? :-) Just sounds like crap. ANYWAY the other issue is that it is REALLY easily over driven and then it sounds hideous and would probably self destruct if it was left playing like this. I REALLY doubt this thing can take 600W.
