I own the direct to seatbelt variant and the dog often releases himself which is dangerous. This product solves that issue and is superior in my opinion to the direct to seatbelt variant, tying around belt and zip line.It states it is not crash tested but the connection seems rock solid and is stronger than all the other options mentioned. I love my dog and this is the best product if want a secure way to hold the dog in the car. Recommended!

The media could not be loaded. I'd recommend this bouncy springers and curious pups. The tether allows some movements but only from sitting and laying down with my Collie/lab. Definitely should be used with harness and not a collar. *Using a collar for any car tether could leave to a serious neck injury (probably death) if car accident occured.I would not recommend this for people who have weak hands. You'll require some strength and some nimble movements to remove from the iso fix. You could leave it attached to the iso. It shouldn't be a bother to sit on for short journeys (or tuck it away) or just get someone with good hands to help.Final ThoughtsThe price here is cheaper then the official site (25quid).And even though it's not crashed tested, I'd trust this design after researching others (clips, cages and barriers), and I'd trust Kurgo (after researching them (happynaturaldog - dog seat belt fails)).Most seat belt clips claim to be universal and give a selection of clips. I found we're not universal and did not feel secure in cars they worked. This feels sturdy. I only hope the strength of my current car harness metal will match the tethers strength.

The media could not be loaded. My toy poodle doesn’t like to be left alone so insists on coming on most car journeys. She’s only little so thinks it’s acceptable to rest her chin on my arm as I’m trying to drive. This tether means that she is now safely and securely contained in the back of my car. I was very impressed with the robustness of the tether and it’s sturdy mental attachments. It was worth every penny

This is brilliant. It's been made to a very high standard and is a premium option. I got this agead if getting a new dog in a few .The tether is real durable and strong whilst the two clips are heavy duty and built to be very secure.I like how the clip is sized. It allows for it to be an easy process clipping it on to the iso fix point. It has really smooth metal work so it won't damage fabrics. I personally will be attaching this to a tether point in the boot of my vehicle and the back seats depending on the car were in.The carabiner clip swivels smoothly all the way around. Again the edges of this metal clip are all very smooth so there is no way it will damage the vehicle during normal use.There's a buckle type adjustment to make the tether longer or shorter and this works well and makes it simple to change the length of lead given to the dog.

This item works great for restraining my 2yr old Chow Chow when travelling in the car. It attaches easily to his harness and the ISO-Fix in my car. I love the fact that if/ when he moves, the restraint swivels on a robust metal fixing so that he doesn't become tangled; which has happened in the past with my dogs. It is definitely sturdy and well manufactured. The design makes it look more expensive than it actually is. From my own experience, after using this for almost a week, i'm very impressed with the product and I strongly believe this product is going to withstand the test of time and keep my dog safe when travelling. I believe its a finable offence in the UK to not have your pet restrained when travelling in the car; so this gives me peace of mind that I am fully insured to some extent, should there be any unexpected road traffic accident. Also, from a price factor, this product is extremely well priced. I will be purchasing one for my Chihuahua also.
