These things work very well. I didn't use them for BBQ sauce but for a mixture I make of oil and lecithin (available at Amazon) that I use as a release agent for ANYTHING from pans, skillets, etc. Those elaborate bundt cakes and bread loaves fall right out. Just squeeze and paint around with the brush end. FYI for the mixture, just put a ratio of one measure of lecithin to 10 measures of oil such that it looks honey colored. Nothing will stick again.

I tried to use this for the intended purpose of storing oil, and using it to brush onto pans. The hole is too wide, it leaks oil rapidly. The silicone bottle is weak, and to put the brush top back on, you may unintentionally squirt liquid out. Too bad I have 3 more of these, I have not yet figured out an appropriate use for them.

Great to put in fridge after washing bristles and reuse for future basting of Veggies in particula. Silicon is easy to wash and use! Giving as gifts with other grill products for the “guys” in my life that are hard to buy for.

Oil leaks out while using and very difficult to put the lid on after filling it up with oil

Advertised 4 pack, only got 2. Top doesn't stay on. Nice idea, but disappointed!

Very handy to have in the kitchen for basting and melted butter is a dream now

I absolutely love these bottles! Use them all the time for cooking and backing.
