Just the right size and shape for a tall cup of coffee. I like that it's stainless steel and no plastics! No "metal" taste. I followed the initial instructions that came in the package prior to use to make sure it was clean and ready to go. This kettle is made well. No leaking as you pour. The spout puts just the right amount of water over your grounds. For the price of this item I was surprised how nice fitting the lid is. Since I just use it for hot water as my pour over coffee, cleaning is easy - no need for the dishwasher! I didn't want a large bulky kettle to deal with and this is perfect.

This was a great way for me to up my pour over game without spending a fortune. The finish has held up perfectly. If you compare it to an expensive gooseneck kettle, the pour angle could be slightly better, it pours out and not directly down. It does have a good stream and you can get pretty slow without the stream breaking. Definitely recommend for a beginner, it's a cheap way to experience the difference the control makes for pour overs.

It's a little on the small side but I was trying to be cheap, so knew what I was getting. It's exactly what I was expecting. A small added bonus for this kettle is the little rubber stopper that allows me to walk through my worksite without the water sloshing through the spout, and prevents me from slicing any coworkers (accidentally, of course 😏) with the sharp tip of the spout. One thing I will note is that if you fill it with hot water, the entire kettle gets hot and you will want hand protection if carrying it a distance. I also don't love that I usually overfill it and then pour it all over the place over the lip instead of through the spout, but that's totally a "me" problem, not the little kettle's problem. 😆 But with that said, it's easy to do...

This little pour over kettle fit my needs perfectly. I am the only coffee drinker in my home and it is the perfect size for me to brew one cup at a time. It is very well made and keeps my water piping hot while pouring over water into the brewer. I'm glad I found it.

I am new to the pour over coffee game. I'm not a perfectionist about it, but I needed a way to pour more slowly than I could from my electric kettle. I did not want to purchase anything large or complicated. This little pouring cup works fantastically! It holds 12 oz of water if you fill it to the top of the handle. It might seem like you would not be able to pour without spilling with it this full, but it pours brilliantly even completely full to the top. As another reviewer mentioned, the handle remains remarkably cool even when this solid metal kettle is filled with boiling water. The rate of pour is perfect for my one cup cone pour over dripper. It is compact enough to fit in my cabinet right alongside of my coffee cups. This is a good thing because I live in a very small home with limited storage. This is exactly the easy, uncomplicated, and minimalist addition to my coffee routine that I was looking for. And as a bonus, it is absolutely perfect as a little watering can for my house plants!

Update: I changed my rating to one star because this is not stainless steel. I don't know what metal this is made from it could be something dangerous like zinc. But after noticing discoloration at the bottom I use the magnet test and a magnet did not stick anywhere on this kettle. That means it is definitely not stainless steel. Use at your own risk. This is stainless steel. Perfect if you are a single-use coffee drinker--it doesn't hold enough water for anything more than one cup of coffee. I really like it because it was cheap and it does exactly what I bought it for.
