Q: will this work with my plastic elongated toilet seat?

I put them on my plastic round seat. I'd be more worried about the thickness of the seat. One of my screws never did tighten down, stripped out at the get go. But it's still there and working like it should.

Q: how do you remove these after you put them on?

Remove screws if you used them. Grab the Toilet Seat Stopper firmly and with a rotary twisting motion, twist off. If adhesive strip does not come off with stopper, peel off by hand.The rotary motion is one that would never occur in the normal use of the stopper but will remove it without too much difficulty.LuisCustomer Service
