I have curly hair and wanted a spray without silicones and sulfates. This is a great product as it’s approved by the curly girl method. I use it on wet hair in my roots, blow dry on low and scrunch out the crunch. It gives the perfect balance of hold and volume. It’s not cheap but I don’t need a lot of product so it lasts. It also smells lovely. TIP: If and when the spray gets sticky and won’t spray, run it under v hot water and it will work again

I haven't used hairspray in a long time because it drys out my hair and ruins my curls. Not this stuff! I've never been able to go more than 2 days before my curls are a frizzy flat mess. I'm on day 3 and they look amazing! I used a little half way thru diffusing and a little more after it was dry. It is a little crunchy and sticky at first but once the product is fully dry and you scrunch and shake you are left with bouncy smooth shiny curls. A little bit of this and water is all you need to refresh. The sprayer gives you a fine mist that evenly coats your hair. I do wish for the price that the bottle was a little bigger but for me it's well worth the money. Pics are day 3 curls!

I ordered this hairspray because it was recommended on a video in UTube. The first bottle I received was leaking everywhere. The sprayer part was broken. I requested a return and replacement. I quickly got a new bottle. But the sprayer part on this bottle was also not working correctly. When I’d press to spray it, it wouldn’t pop back up as it should to spray again. I had to wait some time for it to come back up. Nor do i like this product either. It feels very sticky and my hair looked like it was drenched with hairspray. I have naturally curly hair and I scrunched my hair over and over hoping that it would look and feel better but it did not. I through the bottle away. Very disappointed. I gave it one star because they sent a replacement bottle quickly.

The spray bottle worked well - this isn't one of those bottles that shoots out product in a little stream. It did provide some nice hold but I found it a little drying and it also left my hair with a "producty" feeling.

Love this hair spray! Light weight and holds my curls! It doesn’t make my hair feel too stiff! The scent is light. Worth the money. I’ll always get this hairspray!

When I read ingredients, I didn't think about red algae, that is, I wasn't remembering what it is. If I'm not mistaken, it's the same red algae that over blooms and causes red tide, which is very toxic and dangerous to breathe. So, when I got it home, I was reluctant to use it, as I have enough issues with the high pollen. Now, that being said, they may use a constituent of the red algae that does not put off that particular chemical compound - I don't know. Also, I did not find the scent pleasant at all. It repelled me and I wouldn't want my hair to smell like that. Last mention, and not really an important one, was it did not come with a cap. Not sure if it was suppose to. So, I can't even address to whether or not it worked holding curls in place.

This is the second time I’ve ordered this. The product is fine - soft hold for curly hair, more of a spritz or shaping spray. But each time, the product has arrived without a lid or any kind of sealant to prevent it from leaking. The first bottle had leaked just a little bit, the second bottle amazingly hadn’t leaked, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time, so I won’t be ordering it from this seller again.

I like how quickly the product takes to set and hold. I use this after washing my hair; when I use my gel and diffuse it. It does get sticky and makes hair crunchy but thats what I look for in products for my hair. When it gets crunchy, I know its time to break the crunch/cast, after that my hair is left definitely and soft. I feel like this product allows for faster and stronger hold since it sets very quickly.
