Nice pen
I like how this pen looks and I like how it writes smoothly, what I don't like is a medium nib, it's too big for me but I wanted to try out a shimmering ink so this was my choice of pen. The pen is lovely, nice weight, not like a cheap pen it has some weight on it, felt really good in my hand. A little thick but not enough to annoy me. I would purchase again in a different color just not a medium nib. For the price I think I got my monies worth and am pleased, but will be passing it along to my daughter because I am an extra fine, fine nib on rare occasion type of girl. (0.38 me please and thank you), this would work beautifully for someone who likes a larger nib I'm sure.

Beautification fountain pen great price
This pen is awaome i have other fountain lens one is expensive but this inexpensive pen is just as stylish as my Dryden pen I love this pen. It's really nice and writes good. If you don't press down hard on it then it won't go though the paper. It writes really nice with no pressure while writing. I have a lot of short cartridges 24 and my cartridges fit in all my fountain lens . You won't go wrong in buying this pen. It's a lot more stylish then what I expected for the money. The casing is really nice and smooth holding it. Great pen

For $8 you can't go wrong!
**update 1 week laterThis is hands down the best fountain pen I own. It's better than my Lamy Safari, better than my pilot, and for $8 I can't believe how good it is. I plan to buy several more. My most expensive fountain pen is only a $60 Retro 1951 Tornado, so maybe at those really steep price points of $100-$300 you start to notice an enhanced writing experience IDK, but for sure this thing keeps up with anything I've tried.***1st impression: WOW2nd impression: WTF!?3rd impression: mmm ok1st it feels like a $50 pen. I paid 2x as much for a kaweco sport and was deeply disappointed in that pen. I expected the metal clip to feel cheap and possibly to be made of some sort of plastic, nope it is steel and feels great.2nd: My cap was really crammed in there. I thought it was a twist, but then the barrel came out, it's a pull, but it is too tight. Once I got it opened up I went to fill it. For some reason it would not drink through it's fill hole. I thought perhaps the converter was not seated but it wouldn't go down further so IDK! I sucked ink up and pushed some back down until it dripped out and made a mess but it seems to write ok after that.3rd: The nib is fine and I'm not a fountain pen expert but the black plastic fins on the back of the nib are a little flimsy. The part that touches behind the nib was a little loppy but I pushed it into place and seems OK now.Overall for $8 I'm satisfied and beyond. I will buy more Jinhaos. I love cheap chinese made products that are made for the Chinese market. I have a pair of sneakers I ordered from a chinese app that cost $16 amd have outlasted many pairs of onitsuka tigers, which are 3-4x the price. I feel confident this pen will last many many years.

Cap doesn't want to stay on, and it looks broken inside?
The media could not be loaded. I ordered the Ivory white, specifically because i saw reviews that it looked more green than white (and i love the color green). So i was expecting that and am happy with it, but what I wasn't expecting was the cap to not stay on. It falls off very easily, which was strange considering so many of the reviews i read said that it was more stuck-on than loose. But maybe I didnt' read enough reviews about the cap. It also looks like something is broken inside the pen cap? I can't really tell though, and it was hard to get a picture.Otherwise, the pen writes pretty well, and it was easy to fill the converter after some fumbling (gotta make sure the nib is *fully* submerged, and i loosened/cleaned the converter with water before filling it with ink). I am a beginner when it comes to these type of pens though, so take that with a grain of salt. The pen itself has a nice weight to it and feels comfortable? But i've only used it today, and maybe I'll come back to this review after a while of using it on long-term use.Edit: well its almost been a year and it still writes very nicely. The cap is still loose and doesn't want to stay on, but I "fixed it" by using a small amount of washi tape on the pen and that worked.

A wonderful pen
This fountain pen is balanced to hold in your hand, it feels solid not cheap, and writes well. I got it specifically to do a "Spencerian modification " that I saw demonstrated online . I filled the cartridge with walnut calligraphy ink, and changed the nib to a "G" cartoon calligraphy nib for Spencerian writing, which is normally a pointed dip pen project. I use it when I am travelling to avoid extra mess , and it is working well. It is a nice fountain pen and worked beautifully for normal handwriting out of the box and the nib it came with was very functional and pretty. It comes without ink and you will need to buy fountain pen ink or cartridges to fill it.

Fantastic value
First, I have just recently rediscovered the fountain pen and have purchased a few entry level pens to get started. One of these is the JinHao X750. It is probably the least expensive pen that I've purchased so far, and I have found it an incredible value. The outward appearance is really something that looks like a much more expensive pen. It is solid and has a good build quality. You'd have to look it over in detail to notice the places where they've used cheaper materials in the construction. I currently have mine (Medium nib) inked with Diamine Twilight using the included converter. The nib is smooth, and it seems just right; not too wet, not too dry. So far I've noticed no quirks with performance; just uncap it and start writing.I'm pleased with the purchase and would certainly consider another X750 in the future.
