I watched a video on making Peruvian rotisserie chicken with an Aji Verde sauce. This was one of the ingredients listed. I made the recipe with the substitute ingredients and then purchased this item for the second attempt. This provides a unique flavor that I cannot replicate with other peppers. I only use this ingredient when making Peruvian recipes.

I use this to make a Peruvian mahi mahi recipe I found and it was so super good! Spicy but nothing crazy just put in bits at a time till you get the spice level you want! You can always put more in but not take more out yk 🤷🏻‍♀️

Excellent Peruvian Aji! I can make “Papa à la Huancaina” I can spice my “Green Rice- Arroz verde con Pollo” and any plate that needs that Peruvian spicy flavor .

Aji de gallina is my favorite dish and I really wanted to make it myself but I couldn't find this in a local store. Tastes great and gives the stew that beautiful yellow color. I'll have to keep experimenting to see what else I can use it for.

The product arrived with the button in the center of the lid popped up, indicating that the seal on the jar had been broken and it was no longer safe to consume. The lid of the jar in fact has a note on it instructing you to reject the item if the button is popped up. It's possible this happened after it was sent, but given that other reviewers have had this problem, it seems more likely that spoiled products are being sent in the hope that consumers just won't notice.
