Great rod. Not sure about some of the other reviews written but here we go. The quality is excellent the cork handle is really nice. The action of the rod is very enjoyable, playing fish is a breeze as the soft action takes up most of the work. Had zero hook pulls on this rod, never lost a fish. This is an excellent rod and a joy to use, my only slight criticism and this is purely a matter of taste is that the handle section is gloss finnished and the top section is matt. I had to check this with the seller and the internet as I thought I'd been sent wrong parts., this is how it is meant yo be. At this price point having used the rod there isn't anything out there I would buy instead.

The tips are shocking unbelievable to think Diawa put there name to it the rod itself is lovely looking and actually feels nice when playing fish however the tips snap on cast and on retrieve also while being transported in the tube they come with they shatter into 2 inch long pieces utterly gutted faith completely gone in Diawa the black widow reel is also shocking I've got better generic reels 10 quid each on here .

one quiver tip arrived broken and the spare broke just as quickly
