High Performance 12 Gauge Speaker Wire, Oxygen Free Pure Copper - UL Listed Class 2 (100 Feet Spool)

I had to do some searching before I found some reasonably priced OFC wire on Amazon without concerning reviews that had me worried I would end up with a pile of aluminum coated mess. MaxBrite delivered just what I was expecting and I currently have a great pair of speaker wires to show for it. The strands appear well made and no issues with conduction, at least when it comes to sound quality. The insulation splits down the middle just as it should. My only suggestion would be to measure lengths independently of what the markers on the wire say. I somehow have one wire about a foot shorter than the other because I went by the two foot increments on the wire itself. But, you live and learn.

This speaker wire is absolutely amazing!!! Really thick and yes it is pure copper( tested it). I used this with Mediabridge banana plugs and it is right at the limit to get it through the hole, but it can be done with a little muscle. The sound is noticeably clearer on a pair of Focal floor speakers. I was using some pre made wires that were quite expensive and so you think their going to be good, but I believe this wire tops them. Took about an hour to make them, but worth every minute!!!

I recently decided to upgrade some of my audio equipment, meaning I needed new speaker wire, too. I got this spool based on the reviews and the fact that I didn't need to splurge on 100ft of cable. I can verify the others' claims, this cable is of great quality! I am using it with Sewell SW-29863-12 Deadbolt Banana Plugs and while insertion can be a little tough, but once it's in, it's secure. Performance has been great paired with my amp and speakers getting over 100W each channel. Clean and clear highs.

This is definitely high quality speaker cable. I am using to connect a pair of Klipsch Synergy F-300 Tower speakers to a Yamaha A-S501BL amplifier [bi-wired]. The sound is awesome in my purely personal opinion. I feel certain that this cable will provide years of service. The price is very reasonable given the quality of the cable. Delivery was on time and well packaged. I would definitely recommend both this vendor and this speaker cable.

I think the cable is good for the money. The strands of copper within the sheathing could softer and stronger. The strands appear to be a bit brittle. Still, above all else, the cable is well worth the money.

Great product, get the best out of your speakers and buy this. You'll know it's actual 100% copper wire before you even open the box just from the weight.

This speaker wire was used as part of a home theater rebuild I undertook. This cable is thick! Be aware of that when running it through holes, basement joists, etc. The quality is top notch. I have all of these terminated with banana plugs on the end. I have never had a sound system that had no hiss. While the banana plugs and Denon X-4500H contribute to that, I have to believe this is part of it as it is silent!I would get more without question.

11/16/2023 - I purchased 200 feet of 12 gauge pure copper strand wire and that is what I got. Expensive but worth the price. Update 1/10/2024 - I used the full spool of wire and it was in fact a full 200 feet.
