Eyeglass Case for Men Glasses Case Aluminum Light Nearsighted Spectacle Case Box

I bought this to replace a different brand that is no longer available. This brand seems very durable but is light weight. Ill have to wait to see how it holds up but I'm optimistic.

This absolutely does the trick. The case has one function, and it serves it well. The inside is lined with a thin, brushed fabric to keep my glasses safe, and the exterior is rigid without being too big or bulky. I purchased this in blue, and the color is vibrant and attractive. I suspected that after some time, the metallic blue paint would start to chip off, but I haven't gotten to that point (yet). Hopefully it will be durable enough to withstand a few more falls to the bathroom floor.The case is great for day-to-day use, but it also doesn't take up too much space in my shaving kit when I travel. All in all, I'd purchase this case again for my regular-wear eyeglasses, and I'd recommend it for all glasses-wearers looking to up their case style. $12 might seem a bit much for such a simple little tool, but it looks great and brings me joy. :-)

On the pro side:1. Lightweight2. Reasonably sturdy—with caveats (see below)3. Fits my eyeglasses perfectly—better, in fact, than the case that came with my eyeglasses. I have very small, narrow eyeglasses.4. Really soft inner lining5. Nice gray colorOn the con side:1. Sturdy enough to throw in a bag, but I wouldn’t rely on it to take a super lot of pressure. If you sat on the case, I suspect it would bend.2. That nice soft lining is going to be a lint magnet.3. The latch is ever so slightly crooked. It’s at a small angle, which might be an annoyance for some.4. The latch is weak. I don’t think it would stay together if you drop the case on the ground.5. A bit expensive for what you get. Maybe for half the price, it would be a deal.When I travel. I plan to secure the case lid with a rubber band. It’s a shame that they didn’t add a magnetic clasp to the design to make the closure more robust.Also, my case is gray, which I think is the native color of aluminum. I bought that color to avoid any paint scratches. If such things bother you, you might want to consider that when choosing your case.All in all, I’m keeping the case because my eyeglasses fit the case well, but I can’t give this case five stars. It’s a very good case, but not a great one. Obviously, YMMV.

This is awesome for my purposes! I wanted to put last year’s lenses in my Dopp kit so that if I forgot to pack a pair, I’d always have them when I travelled (my Dopp kit is pretty much grab and go; I only refill needed items after a trip and don’t think about it afterwards). The lens cases I had were either taking up too much real estate or not protective enough. This will definitely protect my glasses if they get mashed around in my bag, but it’s almost exactly the size of my glasses, which is great. The hinge does feel a bit flimsy though, so I can see it not standing up so daily use. But for less frequent use, it’s perfect!

Great quality product at a good price

This is an excellent case with very good protection. I have reading glasses so I am carrying them everywhere. For this reason, I completely destroy eyeglass cases. This case is well designed and "bricky" yet it is small, thin, and has less of a "show" when it is in my pocket. I am using normal sized glasses so these cases has enough room inside to carry what I need. But the case does not have a lot of bulk so it is slim fitting in a pocket.I really like this case and can already tell it is strong enough to survive me. If I even wear it out, I will certainly get another just like it. I am very happy with it and I have carried it everywhere every day.

I wanted to like this case, because there are VERY FEW of this style out there for larger frame glasses. I need something to carry in my purse.Pro: Larger size without being bulky, very lightweight, nice shape, inside is nicely linedCons: Very slippery feel (my main reason for disliking it), kind of hard to open because it is so thin, no magnetic closure, poor color selection I was hoping for a nice bright color that is easy to spot in the purse.

In many years of shopping on Amazon this is the worst project we have ever purchased. It simply doesn't work. The case does not stay shut. Had it just long enough to be past the return date, otherwise we would have sent it back. Do not waster your money. This is a horribly designed product that will leave you feeling disappointed. You'll get more satisfaction starting a fire with your money at your next campfire. Seriously. Thank goodness this was not expensive. But wasted money is wasted money. Do yourself a favor and buy a traditional thin glasses case that snaps together. This sleek design had promise and we were excited initially but have just thrown it in the trash. Hard pass on this one.
