Pretty good quality with easy to follow instructions. My son and I had a good time putting it together and then playing with it. It was a good gift and pretty good quality.

Great, Fun Build! Doesn't fall apart!
This is a great STEM activity! I get these kinds of activities for my 9-year-old son all the time, just to exercise his brain. He’ll play with something he builds more often than something right out of the package. In this building set, you build two warriors, and they can battle afterwards! He loves it! Instructions were very clear. I had to assist a lot, but we anticipate working together to build these. Otherwise, he gets too overwhelmed and doesn’t enjoy the process. This one, things are held together buy a bunch of small rubber bands, and he doesn’t really have the fine motor skills to assemble. After assembly, the warriors are a lot of fun to play with! They have played with them for hours, and nothing has fallen apart! So, they are very durable! Nothing is worse than creating something that is completely useless. My 4-year-old also plays with these and they stay in 1 piece. This was a great project! Would also make a fantastic gift!

Smaller than expected, great instructions, buy for the STEM value rather than toy value
The first thing I noticed with this kit is that I thought the cyborgs would be much larger. I think I had the boxing robots of my childhood in my head, but these are much smaller. The pressboard parts are laser-cut and all were well cut with no problems removing them. The instructions are fantastic. They are similar to the instructions that come with the popular building block kits. If you and your child(ren) are used to those, you'll have no problems with this. The manufacturer has provided links to online videos to both help build and to demonstrate paying with the cyborgs. The value of this set is really in the assembly. Kids get to see how things work and how pieces interact. There is certainly some STEM benefit to this toy.The play with the toy is okay. It will provide kids with some play time, but due to the nature of the materials, it is not going to hold up well to extended or rough play. We didn't have any issues yet, but I can foresee that it's only a matter of time. That is okay with me though as I feel this toy's value is more in the building of it. However, it is not an inexpensive kit, so keep that in mind.I give this set a solid 4/5. I would recommend this for children 8-12 rather than the 6-14 listed by the manufacturer. I think the younger ones will have problems assembling and the older ones would be too bored playing with the finished cyborgs.

A very fun building activity that can be played with afterwards
I bought this gift for my 7-year-old son for Christmas. He was very excited to put it together, and was able to do it on his own. His quote: "It was really fun to build it and it's fun when it's built too."He and his brother had a blast playing with the two "warriors" together, pushing the button to make them move and knocking each other off the stand.I am not sure if this gift will last for very long, as it is made out of somewhat flimsy materials, but all in all, this is a very fun gift that my sown and I would definitely recommend!

More about the build than playing with it.
My kids put this together themselves. They had fun building it. They used it a couple times, but ultimately, it went by the wayside pretty quickly. It was worth it in the end to see my 12-year-old helping my 6-year-old build it. They worked well together and had a good time at the end of the day.

Educational and safe aggressive fun
This set is very cool. It's educational and reminiscent of rock em sock em robots. I think that kids will learn a lot about mechanics form assembling this set. They also get the reward of having a toy that can move and be aggressive and mildly violent yet still safe. I would've loved this as a kid. The pieces are excellently machined and super easy to assemble while following the illustrated instruction book. Definitely would recommend this toy for rambunctious and curious kids.
