Actually, the other answers are not entirely correct. Airborne transmission of the ebola virus is possible. Although it is usually passed, as was stated by the others, via bodily fluids such as saliva and blood, if an infected person sneezes, the infected particles are spewed into the air and can, and HAVE, infected someone nearby who inhaled the airborne particles. However, this has been shown to be rare and infection generally is by way of direct contact.
As for this being any protection, you'd have to use the correct filters and/or other apparatus. Viruses are extremely small, even compared to bacteria. In order to prevent them from passing through the filter, you'd need one specifically designed for that purpose. Offhand I'm not sure any of those listed are suitable. To be absolutely sure, I'd check with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ask their advice. That's only if you're absolutely set on subjecting yourself to exposure to this deadly, and rather nasty viral contagion. Of course, just traveling to an area known to have had cases of ebola would require numerous permits and safety measures taken ahead of time. Personally, unless you know a whole lot more about it, I'd steer clear. Ignorance about ebola and its infective capabilities will only make you an easy target.  I've got bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and biology and I wouldn't go within 500 miles of an infected area. Why would you? And if you live in the United States, there's no need for protection as there are no present cases here and those traveling into America are checked for signs of illness from infectious diseases before being allowed on the plane, and again before getting off. You will need the facepiece plus: (1) an organic cartridge (for the paint), and (2) a dust filter. You would be wise to Google: "3m 5200 respirator guide," there you will find a nice PDF document which will answer all your questions. EXCEPT fit. OSHA and 3M want you to be "fitted" to get the right size. My guess is, you will be OK with a small.
