These are cute but they are not authentic. They are made in China and have a matte finish. They do not have a lacquer finish.

Cheap wood
That is not a value gift, the wood is very thick, it seems it will break if you touch it. But I needed it for a show, for one day, so it's alright. They are pretty and do their job.
