This is a nice, sturdy cover which snaps on easily. I have access to all ports and camera. It’s important to do the research and order the cover for your exact laptop model and year. I have an HP17- C3000 model produced in 2024, and ordered the matching cover. You may need to match the date of manufacture to get the correct fit. The cover looks great and the red is pretty even over a basic black laptop. You can see in the pictures how nicely the red shows. The bottom snaps on without any trouble leaving your ports free. The best way to snap the top on is to close the laptop first. Make sure to orient it in the correct direction because there is a notch in the front. I just installed it, but don’t anticipate any trouble because it fits perfectly and doesn’t seem like it’s putting any stress on the material underneath. Im very happy with the purchase.

I read the reviews prior to buying this case. I wanted something that would protect my laptop even after taking it out of the carrying case. Even though one review stated that the case didn't fit well I decided to try it for myself. It is a perfect fit for my case. It holds the laptop snugly. It isn't sliding back and forth. I also definitely love that it has a built-in stand to help keep the laptop cool instead of me trying to buy anothe device to keep it raised. This is such an awesome intervention. Also, it let's the beauty of my laptop color show.

Arrived fast. Priced right. Easy to put on and open/close. Keeps my new pc safe and secure.

Between many of the other reviews being negative and it listed as "buyers frequently return this item", I definitely had my doubts. But the options for hard cases for the 17in CN HP Laptops are very, very slim. So I decided to take a chance. And I am glad I did. Fit perfectly, snapped on the laptop easily. Now that I know it works, will likely buy a couple of the other colors just so I can change it up occasionally.

Despite the scary description, I gave it a try and it did fit my laptop, which is different from what's described. I have an HP laptop 2024 17-cp series. Fits like a glove, snaps on and vents and port access points are in correct places. It may protect it from occasional scratches, but it doesn't seem to be effective against occasional drops. A star knocked down because price is a bit steep for two pieces of stamped plastic. Otherwise works as described.
