VPFET Analog to Digital Audio Converter RCA to Optical with Cable 3.5mm AUX Jack Toslink and Coaxial Adapter for Soundbar

Got this to convert my analog equalizer to digital to use with an AVR. The sound is good and haven't noticed any lag or any other issues with sound.....so far. If I do most certainly will post an update. At this point in time I would say yes I recommend this. Forgot to add something that may be important to some, is the fact my source for the unit is my TV and I had the volume at level 60 and when first hooked up there was a definite rumble in the sound production, what I found is by lowering the source to around 25, all that disappeared and corrected all rumble. What I did was put this unit between the TV & AVR using the equalizer to enhance sounds when on the computer such as games, streaming, etc. etc. For regular TV such as cable etc I still use the traditional HDMI. One thing I did notice was the USB power connection is when you connect that power using the PC port it may cause unwanted sounds it's best to use another power source for the USB.

Works perfectly no problems whatsoever

I bought this ADC to connect my turntable to my KEF LS50 speakers. I have an L/R audio cable connected to the OUTPUT of my TT preamp, to the inputs on the VPFET ADC. For output, I used the included optical cable from the VPFET ADC to the optical IN on my KEF speakers. They include a USB cable for power, but no actual power plug, so I used a 5V charger cable from an Amazon Kindle. When I plug it into power, you can see the red optical light go on, and I get audio from the turntable --> ADC --> speakers for about 2 seconds, and then it cuts out. Unplug power and plug it back in again, same thing. 2 seconds of audio then nothing. I tried it with COAX (the LS50's have COAX IN also), and get nothing at all out of that. I'm thinking I either have a bad unit, or bad power??? Any help would be appreciated.

Price is fair( expensive than digital to analog ), but connected to my digital sound bar & viola you have 7.1 surround sound at finger tips. My concerns are its longevity( how long will it last remains somewhat predictable but not guaranteed. Most importantly most products are UNI directional( such as this one) Vs Bidirectional( preferred), so Input = out put in multiple formats and analog to digital vs digital to analog). For these two reasons, 5 stars have been reserved. Overall Quality( hardware and sound ), housing( aluminum), etc are very exceptional.

Exactly what I needed to connect a turntable to a soundbar. Be sure you buy the right thing. I needed analog to digital. Do your research first to determine what you need.

Easy. Red & white banana plugs or 3.5mm stereo audio jack input, Clearly marked Input. Digital output, choice of banana coaxial (orange cable) or optical output. Comes with a short about 2 ft. digital optical cable and USB cable for power input. Size is about 2 1/2 by 3" making it easy to stash behind your equipment. If you play (or work) with various audio technologies, this is one of those adapters you must have on hand, along with the reverse, digital to audio converter and etc., etc.

Worked for awhile then began to buzz for TV even though other devices work fine. Not an electric genius so may have to dig deeper to see what the problem is. Could be bad wire or crossed wire according to Google. Apparently TVs are a problem issue. So wanted this to work. If you're not looking for connection between TV and tuner, for cd, bluetooth unit, and record player, this should be fine.

This Analog to Digital Audio Converter works as advertised. My configuration is computer audio 3.5 mm analog to converter and then out via toslink optical to a lower end tv soundbar. I'm not sure exactly why the audio would not work initially, but have to presume it was on my end with either the PC or the soundbar. It suddenly started working and sounds a lot better than my previous configuration with PC speakers. I notice no drop in audio volume using the device, so if there is any -- it's insignificant. Likewise, the quality of sound appears to be fine and mostly dependent upon my PC + Soundbar with no interference from the device.

Personally, I am against conversion therapy, in fact I believe we should let all life be as it naturally is! That said, I did not need to use forced indoctrination at all to convert my signals from analog to digital, this box does wonders! And there's no noise too!
