These are fantastic zero-drop heel gym shoes
I was apprehensive about ordering these after reading the negative reviews, but I can honestly say that I’m very happy I ignored those reviews. It became pretty clear after a few days of wearing them that most of the people giving these shoes a negative review either don’t understand the product, their purpose, or both. These are high quality budget-friendly zero-drop heel shoes with a widened toe box. Yes, there is a definite adjustment period if you’ve never worn zero-drop heels before. Your Achilles and calves WILL be sore until your body adapts. Once you’ve gotten used to them, though, these are amazing.I have tailor’s bunions that I’ve struggled with for years and I ordered these for my gym shoes. They’ve been nothing but wonderful. They’re very breathable and I have much more control over my foot/toe grip in the gym. I wouldn’t recommend them for high intensity or prolonged walking, but as gym shoes they’re perfect..

Excellent for a gentle introduction into barefoot shoes.
These were the first shoes I ever had that actually fit my too wide feet. Easily the most comfortable shoes I ever wore and they immediately addressed some pinch blisters I was struggling with. I've had them for almost two years now as daily drivers, and they held up very well. The tread is wearing away, but no holes formed and the threads/stitching have only showed some fraying.I've switched to more minimal sole Softstar shoes, and comparatively the WHITIN shoes soles are notably thicker, so they seem to be on the thicker end of barefoot shoes. But, I'd argue this makes them very good starter shoes in getting used to the feeling of barefoot shoes. You can also remove the insole for a thinenr sole, but for whatever reason this never felt right to me.Affordable and comfortable, these are a safe test in seeing if these kinds of shoes are for you. I believe they made my feet more prepared for the Softstars. My WHTINs still have life left in them so I'm happily saving them for the time when I need a more robust sole. They're great for yard work and the like. Just don't do anything with water or take these out into the rain, these shoes suck up water like a sponge. Also worth noting, the shoes squeak a lot on certain smooth floors. This squeaking eventually goes away as the soles are worn in.

They fit well
They feel good they feel wonderfully. For light weight shoes they seem to give support. I got Parkinson's and it makes it better to walk with wearing these. I recommend them

Fitting guide very inaccurate!
Was apprehensive to pull the trigger on these shoes, mostly due to cost and associating that with quality. I am very pleased with them, though. The price point makes them a steal!First the good: I have VERY flat, low profile feet, kinda like skis. Plus my pinky toe has started rolling over and goinng inward. THese shoes provide a generous toe box, and even loosely laced fit my feet like a glove. It was weird walking in them at first as this is the only pair of 0 drop shoes I have worn, almost tripped walking down the hall as if my feet didn't know how to work. After a couple minutes I adapted. My feet feel more "connected" to the ground, with exceptional grip and fit. My feet are very comfortable and not tired after a full day at work on my feet. I will be buying more in the future. The bad: This doesn't take away from my fondness of the shoes, but the top of the toe box (near the laces) somewhat folds in, creating a look of shoes that dont fit well, despite them fitting perfectly. So if you are someone who prefers appearance of functionality, this might drive you crazy. Tall profile feet may eliminate this, as they would fill out the shoe more. Additionally, the fitting chart for these shoes is whack! I measured my foot heal to toe, based on their recommendation I should order a size 8. I read another review that indicated I should order my usual size. So I ordered an 11 (im an 11.5 mens), and they fit perfect!Overall, great shoe, even better value, time will tell how well they hold up to daily wear and tear. Im impressed so far and would recommend to freinds.

Comfortable, stylish and ergonomic for your feet and toes
I was looking for zero drop or barefoot shoes with a wide toe box to restore foot and toe mobility. These WHITIN shoes balance cushion and barefoot feel of the ground beneath you. What I like:1) Comfortable and light feels great to walk on.2) The reinforced lace holes provide stable and snug feel when laced up, but you can wiggle the toes have plenty of room.3) Fabric is strong that I wear them in the gym.4) The colors are deep and cool. In addition to white, I have gray and black which are my favorite casual shoes.5) They are reasonably priced for the quality.6) The non-slip gum soles prevent slipping that you may find with other lighter shoes that use foam soles.7) These pack small so they don't take much room in a travel bag.8) The fabric do not easily stain and stays fresh looking.

I returned them - they hurt my feet. Right size, but they didn't work for me
These shoes seem to have been made pretty well - probably good for the price, but they DID NOT work for me.I was hoping for a good experience, where the reverse heel took pressure off the toes. After a while, the advantages were gone. I felt a bunion that I knew I had and one that I DIDN'T know was there. When I took one shoe off, a toe pulsed with pain. When walking on a tile floor, there was a distinct 'clop clop' sound, kind of like a baby in his first shoes. At first, I thought these worked well for me - but after an hour or two, I realized that they didn't.I returned these and won't miss them.

Great value for the price!
So, where do I startI am on my feet for about 10 hours a day. I work on a assembly line and we do have a very nice mat that is under us which is about a 1/4 inch thick. But, we walk all day, with no sitting, so you are on your feet all day. I myself have a bit of a narrow foot I think, and for years, I mean, all of my life I have worn shoes that just tear my feet apart. That is mainly all shoes would give me a really bad callus on my big toes.I learned fast that I could not wear shoes with a lot of bells and whistles. I needed shoes flat. I found that flat shoes worked best for me. So for a long while now I have worn cheap chuck taylors from dollar general. But they would only last about 6 months. Needless to say, I could not find them in my area any more and even those would tear my toes apart on a long day.So, I tried another flat shoe form walmart, and again, they would tear up my toes. So, a lady I worked with had a pair of these, and I had been in the market for some and thought I would give them a try.So, I have worn them three days now and I will give my first impressions. My left shoe felt fine most of the time, but the right always seemed like there was something weird going on with the insert. I also felt a tightness around my arch and the top of my foot. I love the wide toe box, and no rubbing for my toes now, but the middle of the foot was a bit snug for me.Doing some research after buying these I found that you can take out the insole. Some say that these are not barefoot shoes, I think mainly because of the insole. The insole has a bit of a arch to it. So today, I took out the insole and replaced the insole with some flat rubber drawer liner I had laying around. I saw on the internet that some would use a yoga mat, but this is all I had. So, with that said, depending on if you want a arch or not, I would say get these and try them with the insoles that come with them, or maybe make your own. I want to be as close to the ground as possible, because I do want to feel like I am bare foot. I do wear thick wool socks most of the time too, so, that could have made them more snug in the center, but the insole still had a lot to do with it.So I wore them today for the first time with my homemade insole. So far so good. I will give them a real test this week at work. I just love the fact that my toes are not getting almost rubbed raw every day. All in all like any new shoes, there are some getting use to and a break in process. For me, the break in needs to happen in the top around the mid section and the arch area.I would recommend these to anyone who is wanting to get into barefoot shoes. For the price these would be a good transition shoe. As far as barefoot shoes go, I do not think I am going back to normal shoes. My toes can't take the punishment anymore, and I love the idea that my whole foot is working through out the day. So I encourage anyone to give these at try. The quality seems good. I will give more of a update later as I wear them longer.

Great gym shoes
Bought for training in the gym. Great for squatting and leg presses, they have a nice wide base and have great grip. Toes and feet are happy. White colour stands out, as well!

Comfortable -- game changer for long walking days
The wide toe box is a game changer. If you're not used to shoes like this, there can be an adjustment period for your foot muscles. Saved our feet in Disneyland!
