Very good microscope for the price.
Just what I expected really good microscope for children and adults wish it had Bluetooth so I could get the photos to my iPad easier so I had to order a micro Sim adapter as well. Overall, the build quality is sturdy and the lcd screen is excellent. The buttons can be difficult to be seen use the remote it’s easier. The different microscope attachments are very good and was easy to set up.

Brilliant microscope for soldering small components, screen bigger then I thought it would be but picture on it pin sharp

Great microscope, I had some problems reducing the magnification - but solved now.
Excellent microscope if you want high magnification.I struggled to get the magnification down to the level I need for working on watches - but that was because the focal lengths printed on the lenses fooled me. I assumed that the focal length they quote is as per telescope eye pieces, short-length = high magnification. The opposite is true for these, so I was working with the highest power lens.Only 4 stars because when all is said and done it is a modest resolution, slow speed, basic digital camera on a stand with a couple of lenses - so at £170, not a cheap camera. But if it is what you need, it is robust and effective.

Great microscope for the price.
I'd highly recommend this microscope. With the three lenses it has versatility. I use mine with the L lens for close up PCB work. It has a great working range and has the ability to stream through the HDMI port at the same time as viewing the work piece on the 7" screen. Ideal for viewing on a bigger screen. The picture quality of the built in screen is very good compared to other microscopes. The image quality from the camera sensor is also impressive.Thr are a few things to bear in mind though. The UHD resolution along with it's 1080p 60fps capability is for recording on to the SD card only and not the output resolution of the HDMI port or via USB. Also it's not a true 4K resolution as the aspect ratio at that setting is 4:3 and not 16:9.And if you wonder what the 3.5mm jack socket is for, which is sometimes hidden under a QC sticker, it's for an optional endoscope camera.Overall I would definitely recommend this microscope over others. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent.
Excellent for close soldering work. Makes SMD work a breeze. HDMI output allows a larger monitor to be used although the internal screen cuts out when this is in use. SD card included to record the images. Easy to set up and use.

SoFar All Good
SoFar All Good, Arrived as expected, quick try out and it focused really well and zoom really good, i have nothing to compare the experiance with as im a 1st time microscope user and not bought for any specific reason other than if i need something more powerful than a magnifyer glass then i now have 1.i have not tried using any additional big tv screen yet as the little screen seemed to work just fine for my needs.I shall update this review if anything changes.

Does NOT support Ultra Wide monitors!
Overall great value but if you are looking for more professional use like say electronics repairs, the small 7 inch screen won't be enough. You'll want to output the picture onto an external screen via HDMI and here us where a lot of limitations were discovered.1. Connecting directly to a computer monitor can cause constant screen flickering due to HDMI "handshake loops". This disables both the microscope screen and your external screen.2. The picture quality isn't great when connecting directly to a monitor. Grainy, unfocused.IF YOU DO HAVE AN ULTRA WIDE-SCREEN MONITOR, here's what you need to make it work:A) Computer with a free USB 3 portB) HDMI to USB3 capture card (like Rybozen)C) OBS (free software)You can also mount the microscope on a mic stand. Search for Router-MODS in UK.Once sorted with everything mentioned above, it's 5/5 product!

Good quality and reasonable working distance
The most important thing with using a microscope for soldering is getting a decent zoom while still being able to get a soldering iron underneath and this is known as the working distance. The long distance lens which comes with this set is very good as you can see from the first two photos. Plenty of room to work and very usable magnification. Fully lowered there is much less room but still usable. As with all of this type of microscope you loose depth perception and don't have so much control over the positioning which can be an issue with larger objects. However it is much cheaper than a stereo microscope with a boom arm which is what you would otherwise need
