George Kovacs P470-248 One Light Wall Scone

I just received these lights. They came in really quick. I bought two of them to install each on one side of the vanity mirror in the bathroom. I didn't have them installed yet so I can't talk about how bright they are. There is a sticker on them saying not to use bulbs over 60 watts. Those lights are also good for damp room installations like bathrooms.The shade is very nice quality on those and all chrome parts seem to be aligned and nothing is crooked. Shade itself does not have any material behind it (the part that is closest to the wall), so basically it's just like a U shape shade. It feels very sturdy and solid.Very happy with the purchase. I been looking for vanity bathroom lights for a while and I am very happy I chose those.EDIT: I just installed those on the wall in my bathroom. Something to keep in mind, the shades are flushed with the base part of the light. During installation, all components look like good quality and nicely packaged. I am not sure if they are bright enough for normal size bathroom. I used A19 type fluorescent bulbs and they need a minute or two to warm up. I might switch them to regular bulbs just for that reason since it's little dark when you originally turn them on.

It is very nice fixture. Easy to install. The only thing that the shade has three sides and not all the way around. I bought the same model with 2 light bulbs and the shades was all around with four sides.

It is the look I was looking for, and it matches the description on Amazon. The shade is actually quite thin, and you can see from my picture that the wire inside is showing a little. Also, if I put the shade in the expected side up, a regular light bulb would show from the top. So, I have to put in the other way, but then, it tilted a little from the back, which is ok (cuz you cannot see from the front). But if you may have traffic/people with view on the side, that may not be perfect.

These were a perfect update to our bathroom, love the soft look and great price! Reading some reviews I was worried they wouldn't be bright enough, but they are perfect. Give a nice soft glow but bright enough to do what you need to.

This is a tough review to write. The seller, 'Lighting and Locks' were GREAT about replacing one shade that was damaged in shipping and we really like the size, shape, and function of these wall sconces, HOWEVER the shades included with the Bronze metal finish are very yellow, we are guessing if you order the silver-tone metal then the shade may be more 'off-white.' The color is not noticeable until you put a bulb in, and by then the product is installed in your wall.You can create big differences by using various bulbs. To get the shades closer to 'off-white' we have to use LED Daylight bulbs, which are very very white bulbs and not normally our choice for this application.. We tried many others, but they all cause the shades to be yellow-orange-brown depending on the 'color' of the bulb and the intensity of the light. 'CFLs' and 'LED Soft Whites' were the darkest, even the LED Bright White leaves the shade quite yellow. We installed three of these and will keep them up till we find a better light source for our needs.

I needed four had to order a total of 8, due to defects with shades, both with material and fittings and also scratches on the metal bases.I had to take off parts and exchange shades and other various hardware to get the four sconces to match.-shade tones don't match easily-bad packaging (many scratches on base and dented shades)-doesn't fit perfectly flush against wall because the screw placement is on the side, not in front.. cleaner look on the side, but a compromise there.-tapered plastic cone over socket that holds the shade are not all the same size....or the shade ring.. thus, the shade will be set higher and won't match its pair...

I installed two of these lights in about 20 minutes and I'm a beginner. Easy to install. They are beautiful! Exactly what I needed for my dining room. I use a 40 watt bulb so the lamps just glow to accompany to ceiling light. I love that they have an on/off switch, too.

We bought three of these for our Master bath. We love the low profile shape with just enough gold for glam and shape for timeless style. Great value for money.
