I bought this toy to expose my grandchildren to one of my favorite pastimes from my childhood. It is great! The talking component makes it fun as a feedback. easy to put together and just right in size to see whats in front of you.

Well, my three sons had this when they were young teenagers, and at home. When I saw the same one, I thought this would be so fun to buy for them and their families.. well they loved it and were able to play with their children with it. I went over a really big. It’s a fun game.

Opened it and it never worked. Old batteries left inside and tried to replace with new batteries yet wouldn’t power on because of old battery leakage and contamination of battery acid left inside the unit. What is odd is that there was the round sticky tab sealing the box shut which looked like original from the factory and there was only one on each end so it wasn’t like it was even returned and re taped, but maybe it was returned because why would it arrive with old expired leaking batteries? It doesn’t say that it even comes with batteries. It requires a screwdriver just to open the battery case. Unfortunately this review is being submitted after my return window so now I’m stuck with this broken useless toy unless the manufacture decides to help out.

This is a fun upgraded version of battleship. It adds a different dimension than what the original version has. I left 1 star off because there is room for improvements. First I’d like to suggest making it louder, or having a 3rd option for louder. My father is hard of hearing and cannot hear this game on loud setting. If my kids are playing in the background I can’t even hear it. Second, make it talk a little faster. When you find a ship and you just want your next turn to keep smashing you enemies the computer takes too long between the sound effects the talking the sound affects again. You can make the missile sound shorter a quicker bombing/splashing noise and then hit or miss move on. No need to drag it out. And I know it would cost a bit more, but the middle wall. The one that divides the game boards, is very flimsy, trying to push a leg in is sometimes tricky as they are a tight fit and a flimsy wall. I’d pay a little extra if it was 2 separate games that could interact. But overall it is definitely worth the money and now got my 14 yr old daughter interested. She plays the old version at school with friends but she enjoys the sound affects.

Grandson age 9 and I play this whenever he visits. It is really easy to set up and I think it makes playing battleship a little easier since, you hear the explosions of the bombs. That just may be me, since I am an Audio learner. Get this one and have fun for at least an hour.

It didn't work. I gave it as a gift. By the time it was opened the return date passed. The box had already been opened. It was obviously used before. Now, there is no way to return it. Very dissatisfied!

Great game I actually won for once. lol

The numbers and letters should be a different color than the playing grid. Hard to see. Red white or black would be better
