Why does my current bottle have soybean oil as an ingredient? My previous one did not.

I had the same thing happen - then I noticed I was sent the wrong product (the new labels are so similar!). I was sent Carlson Omega-3's EPA & DHA Cod Liver Oil Super 1000 mg instead of the regular Cod Liver Oil Super 1000 mg that has no soybean oil.

Is the soybean oil in this organic or non-gmo?

The soybean oil is free of any GMO's. Carlson uses a highly refined soybean oil which has all proteins, genetic material and phytoestrogens removed.

Do they add any synthetic vitamins to this?

Yes they do. Nordic Naturals FAQ states “no fish body oils or synthetic vitamins or additives are ever used”. No other brand can honestly make the same claim.”
