It works in several ways.
Previously tried several others but this Tiken Coffee does keep the coffee hot. Also, it fits under the Keurig spout without removing the drip pan.

LOVE THIS CARAFFE!
Love this! We are ice tea drinkers. I brew tea everyday. Fill up a pitcher for ice tea. I have an electric kettle that I have had for years. I heat up the water put 4 tea bags in the carafe and it stays hot and brews well.Always have tea ready to go. Never without ice tea. It’s decorative and looks really nice sitting on my counter.

Great buy!
It really keeps my coffee hot! I make a pot of coffee and pour it into this carafe. No more burnt coffee after letting it sit on coffee maker! It keeps the flavor too. I should have ordered another one for just hot water. Great purchase!

Good enough
I got this for my pourover coffee because I'm tired of breaking glass servers. It fits a Hario V60 and classic Aeropress comfortably. Clever dripper also works, though it's a bit precarious. With the lid on, coffee stays warm for a pretty long time. I have not done methodical trials, but I think it will definitely still be warm if I forget my coffee and drink it a few hours later. But most of the time I use it without the lid.Washing is not so easy, as there are gaps in the lid mechanism that are hard to get into as well as a silicon rubber seal. The pour spout does not make a satisfying or controlled stream of the liquid, rather it just falls out artlessly, and the last ~40 ml of liquid must be coaxed out sputteringly with the carafe held at an unpleasant angle. Pour performance is generally worse if you use it without the lid, as there is nothing constraining the liquid from spilling out the sides of the spout.

Functional but does not deserve 4+ stars
I have owned this product for about a year now. It is functional. However, it tends to dribble after pouring. The seal around the screw-on lid often interferes with the flow of the liquid somehow: sometimes the flow is smooth and consistent and sometimes is weak and unpredictable. Also, the lid tends to contain remnant liquid, especially after washing it. As such, one has to be careful and make sure the lid is completely drained prior to its next use; otherwise, old wash liquid might be mixed with the first pour. There must be better products available.

Best little kettle for camping
This is an awesome little kettle that we use in our camper. I make pour over coffee with the funnel directly above and then insert the lid when it’s done brewing. The coffee never cools off even on cold days outside at the campsite. Many of our friends and fellow campers have commented on how nice it is and we have sent the link onto themIt has a nice stable base and even with almost a year of use, it has no chips or scratches. It is solid and sturdy!

excellent!
I use it to keep my beverages (coffee, hot water) warm. Works great. One caveat. As a test, I tried filling the thermos to the brim with water. When I screwed on the cap, I found I was unable to depress the plunger lever. On reflection, I surmised this was probably due to there being no air gap remaining inside the thermos. Water is incompressible, so when I tried to press the plunger switch, I was actually trying, unsuccessfully, to compress water. This is not a fault of the design -- it's just physics. Just remember to leave a little air gap when filling the thermos and you should be fine. And even if you overfill it, like I did in my test, it's a simple matter to unscrew the cap and pour a little bit of the liquid out, to create a small air gap.It seems to keep hot beverages hot for hours, definitely long enough for my needs.Aesthetically, it looks great. And the design of the plunger lever is such that it's easy to tell when you've screwed it on sufficiently well.Very happy with it!
